Wizard hotkeys or action bars

I've recently created a wizard. With so many skills i see myself using I was wondering if i could see a few examples of hotkey or action bar setups from the higher ups plz.
It's too bad but "free to play, pay to win"-sckye

These "updates" are seeming more and more like downgrades.

    Mine's pretty simple. I have all the sheilds and stuff I don't use often on the bottom action bar

    and all the skills i use very often on the side one, in order (opener>gush>others, depending on element type of monster im fighting), and i have my genie heal + my heal at the very bottom after those


    but i'm only level 33 so i dont have many skills :D

    I use my 1-4 hotkeys, and i use my f1-f4 hotkeys. everything else i use my mouse.

    my layout is a moot point cause I use a custom keyboard layout b:surrender
    Bladestorm lets you spin around like a carnival ride and do damage. Not using it is almost like having a move called Confetti Rocket Power Leap and saving it for "emergencies"

    i have my skills organized by element on the fslots
    on the 1-9 i have my 9 most common used skills
    above those i have apoth pots, etc
    Sins are Scissors. Psychics are Rocks.
    Archers, Venos, Barbs, Wizards, BMs, Mystics, Seekers are Paper.
    ...and Clerics are Mushrooms.
    Paper beats Rock. Scissors beats Paper. Scissors also happens to beat Rock...until Rock gets 50k+ soulforce at which point Rock becomes an unstoppable killing machine that beats Paper... and would beat Scissors but it can't find Scissors, because Scissors are invisible.
    So Scissors beat Paper and avoids Rock, and that is called BALANCE. -cheze

    is there any way to use cutom keys? i have filled all slots but just can reach 1-5 and f1-f5 easy. is there a way to use the other keys like qwer or asdf for the second and third row skills? maybe rewrite a .ini file or something? cause everytime i use genieskills, i use the mouse and its a waste of time to click around in a pvp where every second counts.

    You can remap your keyboard layout, but you can't exceed the number of skillslots in the current hotbars.

    Tell me what OS you have and I'll show you how to do just that, but you may get a bit confised by your new layout b:chuckle

    Or buy an MMO keyboard. Zboard sells some nice (albeit expensive) ones made for FPS/MMO, and if you've got the money to burn, a Razer mouse will generally have mappable keys.

    I have attack skill on numeric bar. Since you can put 3 version of that bar on and switch when necessary, I always put 2 element on each version.
    Function key bar also have 3 version. Default version have escape skill including those on my genie, plus emergency potion and town portal and pick up. The 2nd version have shield and frost buff and mediate and long duration potion. 3rd version is a mix of status effect skill and escape skill and some macro.
