as the title says, whats the absolute biggest, most obnoxious, "hey look at me!" status, tamable pet in the game?

i need a name, i can (hopefully) find all the rest on my own... but if you have one, anything you can provide would be appreciated (pix, stats, etc)

Nivastok Shieldbearer (Level 92, tamed near the Snowy Village)

Cragrock Warrior (level 85, tamed in the Burning Heart)

As far as I can tell, these two are currently the largest tamable pets in the game.

Also, Acephalid Deathknights (level 70) are very large.

I don't know where to find pics of the shieldbearer. Though, if you really want to see them, all you have to do is fly north of Thousand Streams until you reach the frostlands. They're pretty much everywhere up there.

so the Nivastok Shieldbearer... any idea if it's a decent pet for grinding or whatever? or if i got one, would it only be useful for showing off?

i have a deathknight, and used it in TT...about the only place he would fit! golems are a pain in the tush as it is to use, but he was unusuable in dungeons. what i want is a very small lil powerhouse pet....sick to death of having to work around golems, and have neither the money nor stomach for a herc *gag*. ( why did they have to make them so freaking ugly?!

has anyone tried to use a nivastock or cragrock in an FB dungeon? that would be some trick to work with! love to see pics of those hummers, jamming the tunnels!

Forgive the low graphic settings, I'm playing jade dynasty at the same time and it can cause too much lag on both games if I keep the settings up.

Unfortunately, Nivastocks go in the same category as Death Knights. Only good for their looks. Nivastocks are mediocre and they wouldn't be bad for grinding, but their sheer size makes them impractical. If you hated using a Magmite, you'd shoot yourself if you got a Nivastock.

so in terms of PURE STATS, are they better/worse/similar to crystilline magmite of same level? honestly, if they're at least close, i'd use it extensively when whatever i'm doing is just for fun!

I remember the nivastok. Deityofrain would **** west archo off by summoning it. That is when he was one of the higher levels on sanc. b:chuckle

the main value of the big guys, i think, is to freak out low level players! ^_^ i remember how i flipped out last year, seeing my first one. and i love to scare people in whetstone or the swamp, with my deathknight! <evil grin>

actually, the shieldbearer's attack/hp dont look that bad...might be good for outside battles. be a lot of fun to be in a squad doing something like gargakong, and send him in!

Like I said, Nivastocks are mediocre. They have decent stats, but don't excel in any one thing. Magmites are better physical tanks. Antelopes are better magic tanks. Bears are better overall.

I use my Nivastock the same way. Freak people out. I like summoning in strange places where you don't expect to see one. FB79, Burning Heart, Mormaganon are all good. Hell, once I summoned him when my faction was killing Soul Hunter and sent him in. He was almost as tall as the boss!

Though the old 'Grandmother Wolven' still held the title for the largest pet.

Not sure on what the name of her would be here but that's what her name
    is on that other server...

Zoe once used her nivastok as a streetsign in FB51, to tell a poor newbie veno (me) which hallway to turn down; set it on stay-still in the right intersection. it made quite the road marker... but that's also the only time i've seen one used for anything productive in-game.

i'm still getting one when i'm high enough level, no doubt about it. and a cragrock warrior, too.

    >_>

    Good grief...

from what I remember, it was used in PW CN as an event. It's spawned by a GM, and only one, randomly, anywhere on the map, and someone can either tame it, or a griefer can kill it.

It's never once been spawned on a PWI server.

And a handful of other alts, all 79 and under.
