One thing anyone will notice is to make a successful character of any class it is almost always mandatory for any build to stick with a set arrangement of stat points, usually which is described allocated per 2 lvls (10 points)

To make a good hybrid cleric, aka not full vit I will agree with the above two posters,
Stick to 2 vit per 2 levels, minimum strength for Robes( I am not a robe build so I don't know exactly) I assume is around 1-2 per two levels, and the rest into magic.

If you are having problems with pdef mobs, kite more, use cyclone to slow them down, use pdef ornaments and find items with +pdef stat on them

Every Level 1vit | (0-1) Strength | (3-4) Mag

Existing Builds:

Hybrid: 2 Vit -(1-2) Strength- (6-7) Magic
Full Mag : (1-2) strength(8-9) mag (I would not recommend as you will be a total glass cannon)
LA : 2 Str - 2 Dex - 6 Mag

The amount of needed vit is depend on equipment and playstyle. There's no such thing as an ultimate formula imho.

Personally I wouldnt worry with Vit up to at least +65.
Lvl 60 mats can be easily bought and not worth it to do HH60 1-1.
At 1-2 you may start needing vit, but personally I chose pure mag build up to 65-70.
In fbs you just cast plume shell and done, you survive until someone tooks the aggro away. Dont use charm? two pots and done...

^I got almost just as much Vit as you do my mag maybe a little lower but it get higher.

Whats 1.5 vit per lv do its only 10HP (since you cant put 1.5)

1vit per lv or 2 vit per 2 lvs is good enuff

I never said there's no formula, the formula is 1str and 6mag every 2 levels to wear robes and mag weapons and 3 free points (everyone knows this).
I said there's no ultimate formula for how much vit per level becouse it's depend on the equipment and the goal of the player.

The OP's question wasn't about the str requirement. What are we still talking about?

I'm trying this:
Even levels - 1 str 4 mag
Odd levels - 1 vit 4 mag
So far I'm liking it and may adjust once I start doing FB/TT.
