Faction Question(s)

I have a question concerning the faction/guild system in PW. I know that in order to start one, player must be level 20 and have the correct amount of coin. This has been done already by one of my alts who reached the required level earlier than the character I had originally intended to lead the faction.
My question is this:
Can guild leadership be passed to a player lower than level 20 or do they have to be level 20 or higher??
Also is there a posted guide for factions somewhere that I have missed?? A guide that explains the faction window, its contents and options and what you can and cant do??
**Personal Opinion - Considering PW created this feature, one would think they would post their own Guild guide in order to save a lot of confusion and misunderstandings. All that I have found so far is how to create one and that information was limited to level requirement and cost for creation and/or upgrading and member limit. Not near enough information for new members or faction creators to make a well informed decision.
Also the limit on characters for faction names is ridiculous. Even account passwords allow for more characters in creation. Needless to say, the guild/faction system in this game leaves a lot to be desired and seems to be extremely limited.

Guild leadership can be passed to another player regardless of level. And here's the guide: http://www.perfectworld.com/guide/feature/guild0

Thats the same guide Ive seen already. As I said before, it doesnt give detailed explanations on any of the options such as what can and cant be done for each option, limitations, abilities, and so on. They need to post a more detailed guide one that explains faction naming, description and logo information, how each option works, benefits, and so on. It is very obvious from the texting in the window of the faction screen and the texting on the buttons what each is for, but gives no further explanations. Hope that helps to clear things up a bit.0

I have been searching the forums for information about factions without any luck. b:cry It would be nice to have a thread devoted to explaining the options available when you make a faction. Personally, I don't enjoy PKing or any type of war, so I would like to know if there is an option to make a faction unavailable for war before I pay to start one. b:victory
The main reason I want to make a faction is so I will stop getting spammed with faction invites. Is there a way to block invites to factions?0 -

You said it! I HATE that! I was also considering starting one for the very same reason. My main character is level 50 but I have four others of various levels and my son has two and my daughter has two as well so we thought we might start a faction and call it "Antisocial" for fun. b:chuckle Except, of course, that that's too many letters, darn it. (Why only 9 letters in the name?) But then I realized I really have no idea what a faction really does in the first place to I changed my mind and came here to research it.
I did discover a check box in the menu where you change chat colors and stuff that says "ignore squad requests" or something like that and I clicked that. I just discovered it yesterday so I don't know yet if it's working or not. I hope so, 'cause man that gets annoying! Especially when you're in the middle of a battle. Whack whack zap zap "knock knock knock" What?!!! b:laugh0 -
There currently is not an ignore faction request option available yet. But pw is getting hit with many complaints and requests to create that option.
The benefits of being in a faction are having another group of people to quest and run fb's with aside from people on your friends list. And the Faction chat is uber cool for just shooting the breeze with many friends through the day at one time. Works like the squad chat but you don't need to be squaded. There's fun TW's to run but im not totally sure on the benefits of owning territory yet.
Theres mini titles to label factioners with but those too are 4letter limited. As for what these labels are for im not sure. We just give fun titles to our members to use more as an abreviated nick name. Some factions keep track of their members level achievments by titling them with the lvl they we at when joining. The whole title option might just be an option for each faction to use as they see fit.
Commissioners:
Regular faction members. No special abilities with the faction
Executors:
You can promote ppl to executors and they have the ability to invite others to join. But they cannot kick anyone from faction.
Marshals:
You can promote ppl to marshal. A marshal can invite ppl to join the faction and promote a commissioner to executor, but a marshal cannot promote anyone from executor or up. A marshal can also demote an executor back down to commissioner but cannot demote anyone higher then exec. Marshals also cannot kick anyone from faction.
Directors:
Directors can invite anyone, promote anyone to exec or marshal, demote from marshals on down. Grant titles, Kick out anyone from marshals on down but they have to demote a marshal down to commissioner and then kick them out. Directors can also change the slogan, although i've never read any other factions slogan before and cannot even find where our slogan shows up. (There can only be one Director per faction)
Leaders:
The one who creates the faction can do all options listed above. Leaders are the ones who initiate the TW's (There can only be one Leader per faction)
Creating a Faction:
First time applicants must be at least level 20 and must be able to pay 100,000 coins.
Upgrading a Faction:
You can upgrade your faction's tier in order to increase the member limit of your faction.
Tier 1: 50 member limit - 100,000 coins
Tier 2: 100 member limit - 2,000,000 coins
Tier 3: 200 member limit - 10,000,000 coins
Some factions are charging their members fee's and putting it in some faction bank to use for TW's and other faction issues. Although ours does not charge so I'm now sure how their handling any money issues.
The downside of starting a faction is getting members. Theres litterally hundreds of factions already created and not enough members to go around. Which is also why a lot of factions are sending spam invites to non factioned ppl running by. My faction just invites those asking to join and those we already are friends with.
I don't see spending 100k to start a faction in order to stop the invites as being worth it tho. I'm sure pw will implement the ignore faction invite option soon as it is a great request and highly needed.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
