Is This Bannable?

I was just wondering if it is against the TOS or bannable to log onto a friends account (with their permission) on another computer while they are not at home to use their character to do my low level quests so I can level faster. Of course I have not done this yet, and would like to know beforehand. A response from a GM would be very much appreciated.

Thank You

NOTE: Both computers are in the same house.

Yes, account sharing is grounds for being banned.

i just read the TOC and i don't see anything that describes sharing account info as bannable.

Account sharing is a bannable offense. Having more than one account is not. You are allowed to run one client per computer. If you have two computers, you may run a client on each one simultaneously. You may not run more than one client per system.
I post in forums. This one and others. That's why I post.

Account sharing is something that is frowned upon, and in extreme cases banned.

Of course situations where a friend goes to the bathroom and you prevent them from dying are not cases where an account would be in jeopardy.

However using a friends account on a regular basis, logging in from multiple IPs repeatedly within short spans of time, will raise red flags and in some cases result in a suspension or ban.

What if our parents are divorced, we carry a laptop, and it looks like I'm sharing my account (Because i switch IP's when I go visit)?

Please read carefuly Gm post. It says "multiple IPs repeatedly within short spans of time" i don't think you go from 1 parent to another in 1 min or so b:laugh. And not everyday. So don't worry b:victory

You know if this was enforced strictly and people bothered to report account sharers, you'd have half of pwi's playerbase banned within the day,i know more who share with family and friends constantly than don't:P
Quit 100%...and surprised my forum account wasn't banned...yet

so its frowned upon, but not ban able to share account with someone else? I too read the rules, and I couldn't find anything about sharing accounts being against the rules. Although there was a lot of text...

me for example, have a veno that I dont play that much anymore, would I be allowed to lend it to friends who wanted to use it to farm with?

Hmm, I'm curious about this too. Can we have a GM answer before having this locked?
