Problem with shards

A have a problem to imbue shards in my gear. I go to tailor or to the blacksmith and click at imbue sooulgem. A drag a lvl 5 shard that sticks but when i drag some of my gear (lvl7) it does not stick. They have slots that is not used. What do i do wrong. I have never been able to imbue. Please help.

    Maybe the shard's lvl is too high for your gear.. check it's description.

    no the shards are for lvl 5 and up and gear are lvl 7. Any one knows why this happens?

    You don't have the 1-5k for imbuing them?

    might need to repair your gear first.

    ive got over 1 m and the gear are repaired so i do not understand. Its just like the gear doesent stick. I have no clue why

    um question did u uneqquiped your gear 1st? you can't dragg it if you are wearing it to the slot...also if the shard was too high lvl for your gear instead of saying sucessful it would say it was too low...hope this helps b:pleased

    ok she said the folowing
    1)TAKE OFF UR EQ(eg:armor with 1 soket) pu it in a slot in ur inventory
    2)Open the BM/tailor ss embelding....(the ss sticking thing)
    3)PUT THE ARMOR THERE FIRST
    4)SS second
    5)Pressok/compete

    Are you trying to shard your gear at the right NPC? To shard armor go to a tailor and for weapons go to a blacksmith.

    Also, make sure that you're dragging the shard to the square box for the shard. I've had it where if I miss it by a few pixels then it just goes back to my inventory.
