Rainbow Blessing. Re-discuss.

All right homies, I found myself pretty disappointed with Rumbling Thunder (the flying version of Thunderstorm, though I suppose the case could be made to put more points into strength...... naw.) and with my genie in general, so I thought to reroll one. 1.06million spirit will get you (at 78) a level 60 genie and a false sense of hope when your level 10 roll lands a 9. 32 lucky points out of 60 later, I've got a genie a little more than half-badass. At 40 magic, I've decided to keep Wind Force out of sheer hope that the glitch with it resetting your velocity will be fixed soon, and of course extreme poison/holy path following it up. Having to choose between Elemental Weakness and Rainbow Blessing, I chose the latter, after discerning that EW would affect most the melee classes, whom of which I already nuke hard enough for 40% not to make much difference, and on arcanes I wouldn't want to give the physical resists to.

So anyway, now I've got me a level 9 Rainbow Blessing, and have some choices on skill points. I've got vit to 56 (giving me enough energy to RB and follow up with EP), magic to 40 (could always use more energy regen), strength to three and dex at five. Strength is no longer necessary to my needs, vitality is right where I want it, so my remaining points can be spent in either magic for more regen, or dexterity for the ambiguous meaning within Rainbow Blessing. Let's start with the queries:

Rainbow Blessing as we know, gives us our critical bonus, as well as zero to three other buffs, including Physical Attack, Magical Attack, and Channeling speed reduction. We also have listed a % next to those buffs, and they are as follows:

30% increased Physical Attack
30% increased Magical Attack
10% increase critical hit chance
20% reduced channeling time.

Also given is that every 5 dexterity points, we will receive another 1% increased success rate.

It may be me, but these all seem like drunk text messages to me. What exactly does 30% increased magical attack represent? 30% chance for the buff to occur? 30% increased magical attack? What about crit-rate; I assume, since it lands 100% of the time now, that it is indeed a 10% increased critical hit chance, but I can't be certain of that, because whoever changed the skill description wrote 'The critical hit blessing will occur definitely of the time', and I can't stop thinking of a giggling stoner typing all this up without sending it to someone to proofread first. Alongside this, the dexterity increase is efficient from what other skills require dex points for, getting to 55 dex being pretty simple especially given the points I have right now, and the coming points from levels. However, does that mean I'll have a 41% chance for magical attack? And 31% for channeling? Or do they represent in fact the increase that they give? It's like looking at a law book, figuring this skill out, I swear omg.

Anyway~ out of three clicks so far I've gotten physical/magical attack increase, then channeling increase, then just magical attack increase. If this trend continues (I'll do some more testing, once I find some 2stars to decompose), it seems pretty unlikely that only one buff will land. If the given percentage values listed on the skill report to the chance for them to occur, there's a 39.2% chance that no buffs will land (other than critical, of course). I will say that the channeling increase is extremely noticeable, as I was casting IH in ways I'd never channeled before. It felt like the casting speed was halved. Stack on some crit-rate, and I find this to be a sweet PvP slammah.

Thoughts? Corrections? Facts? Naked ladies? Post away, they're all relevant to this thread.

Not worth it. There are better skills to get, no point in wasting a valuable skill slot on this.

Still testing. I'm hoping for a dev answer, because that would be incredibly sexy.

Now now, ladies; let's be fair. My only two pks today were one-shots on 4k wield thunder crits, and I hang at a 1% crit-rate. I went straight from the archer to the BM, and they felt like a pair of tools. I feel pretty glorious about that. ^^
