As far as the mid-mat problem is concerned...
A huge bot-invasion can be seen in the near-future b:laugh

GMs should definately keep an eye on the constant miners.
I'm not blaming them tho b:laugh

Mid-mat on market: 4-7k
Ultimate Substance: 100-110k

People used to get that stuff for free, now it's impossible.
E.g. when I fly over some route I use to go farming some times when I needed some stuff I see no matts at all hahaha b:laugh

Well, I don't mind taking it easy - but I feel sorry to all these who do mind b:laugh

    Holy ****. Substances are 100k on your server now?

    Lately, my server prices are up to 80k at most it seems.

    I....don't get it? O_o

    I mean, I understand the hike in high-mat prices thanks to the BH but mid-mats? No one wines fb59 or lower for BH's since it's 15 minutes work and it'd be a waste of about up to 180k worth of mats. Or do they? Seems the sudden demand has come with the BH.... and if there wasn't a demand the prices would stop rising.... (for example, high-mats peaked at 4k, then slowly reverted to about 3k apiece). Subs are 75k and rising fast on sanc.

    I have no clue what's going on, really - and I actually have no problems with getting high mats (I still can go and mine them here and then).
    So then there might be another reason why the mid-mats became higher:

    Molds aren't that rare any more and more people buy them (at lowering prices), therefore they need the mid matts too.
    And well, since more and more people have made it to their TT-age, might be that the demand for subs has risen or smth.
    That'd explain why it's still cheap in Harshlands (figure it is harder to level there etc).

    Well, someone just sold me for 60k and I need a few more to make my new piece of gear :D

    Still idk if 100-110k is a reasonable price o_O


    Just unbelievable what's going on with all the prices :D

    Goodness knows why, but they do.

    Another factor, I think, is that bountyhunter is rushing people through their 40s and 50s - which pushes them right into "Ok, TT every night please" and "We need HOW many substances for 70? Better start saving now!"

    Perfect sense. The mats are BETTER because you can do other things with them.
    The ult subs are mats which have had some of their possibilities removed.

    Ok, you have to go to a forge to make the subst, but you have to be near one of the forges to do anything WITH the subst, so that's almost no cost.

    Way to misunderstand. What I meant was:

    Ultimate subs = Mid mats - possibilities of turning midmats into something else.

    With midmats you can make things other than ultimate substances, and that possibility is worth something. Not very much but something.

    And yes, the price of ultimate substances seems to be rising - not so long ago I could find them as low as 30k. Now the very lowest I can see is 50k.

    I don't think solo TT runs will break even, unless I get lucky.

    80 is average on DW now, occasionally they sell over 100. TT items themselves have risen a bit too as a result, but their rise hasn't been proportionate to the rise in sub prices for the most part. The TT 2-X stuff has mostly doubled in price, yet lots of the 1-X stuff has remained the same.

    Just... keep an eye out :) There seem to be a few traders who haven't caught the memo about prices yet.

    Catshops around lost, and in out of the way bits of Arch seem best.

    50k ulti subs 4k-2.8k mid mats and 3.5k-3k high mats on Harshland. My mat route is open most of the time, maybe it's my timezone b:sin

    Seriously fun, actually, how this financial crisis in the game is allmost as critical as in real life.

    I'm not too sure if this was made by a plot or it was accidental - I'm dead sure that a lot more people have started to charge zen.
    If I ever had the possibility to do so - I would! But not owning a credit card or not having the possibility for pre-payed cards messes it a bit up.
    Feel kinda trapped.

    And I believe I'm not the only one.

    So the only possibility to earn money would be in-game, which would mean massive grinding, mining, TTing etc.
    That's where'd the bots come in, because the competition in these areas has become very strong.

    Anyway, I just hope that this is some kind of a season which will pass soon. The game is becoming kinda dull that way -_-

    I've not noticed much difference in traffic on the mats routes I use, but again, perhaps it's just because I'm in a different timezone to the majority of the users b:victory
