Label afk or catshopped players

Its frustrating to need help and see a bunch of people on my friends or faction list online. Yet they don't respond to requests. I'm never sure if they're in Cat Shop mode, afk, or ignoring me. Is there a way this can be labeled on friends and faction lists. This might help factions throw out the dead wood as well.
That is those people that ARE online, but are ignoring calls for help repeatedly.

Ever wondered if they DONT want to help you so they ignore you? If you need help, best to ask out loud in faction chat and not whisper people directly. For friend list, right click their name, refresh personal info and see location. "west archosaur" = afk most likely.
I was early taught to work as well as play,
    My life has been one long, happy holiday;
Full of work and full of play-
I dropped the worry on the way-
And God was good to me everyday.

They should tell you they're busy if they don't want to help. And yeah, it's a good idea to label catshopped players. Although afk players would be harder, how does a game know for sure if someone is really afk?

I think this is a great idea. Catshop shows online just as someone actively playing does and that doesn't make any sense for anyone trying to figure out how active their faction or friends list really is.

Just whispering or going on Faction chat isn't a perfect solution because someone may be AFK just for a bit and miss it. Especially if you are in the middle of a battle or WQ.

There are lots of reasons why members may not answer your call. Here's a few.

    1) they could be fighting off multiple attacks and not be able to talk at that time

    2) They could be talking to another player, ie someone on their freinds list, etc

    3) they could be in an FB, or TT squad

    4) they could actually be afk

    5) they could be dead

    etc etc etc

Expecting everyone to say "How high" everytime you say "Jump" is really the wrong way to treat a Faction in my book. I always thought a Faction was supposed to be like a family, they help because they want to help not because it's expected of them. My crys for help have gone unanwsered as well, but I know there's probably a good reason and they will help when they can. All good things come to those who wait.

I realize that there are times when folks are busy. I've played on MMO where you can push a button and an afk flag goes up on you, as well as a message when anyone tries to PM you. Another function of this is to make you invisible to faction/friends. I have used this when I didn't want to be bothered. In my I've seen numerous requests for example, Clerics. The request goes out with not a single response. I go on the faction/friend list and see a TON of clerics online. All I expect is a simple, "I'm busy right now", or "you suck, I'll never help you". Instead I have to spam chat a few times before I log off in frustration. Factions recruit people under the belief that the person would help out the faction. Its extremely frustrating to KNOW that there's someone who can help you online, but is ignoring you, even to say "no".

Also I only PM people as a very LAST RESORT, after I'd exhausted Faction and regional shout outs.

I hear what you're saying. any reply, even a negative one would be something. At least then you know for sure. I suspect you've even felt like everyone is all fired up when you can help them, but when it's you in need no one is there. Like you were recruited for what you can do the them not what they can do for you?

when you dont move the mouse for 5 mins
you go to away right away
n back to online soon as you move the mouse
