    Also, seeing BowlingBob's remarks, it comes to my mind that so much rude protesting, and ignoring of the math, must be hiding some sense of inadequacy, be it about their build or about themselves. What belief I had in the credibility arcane clerics just fell through the floor after reading Bowling's remarks.

    On another note, yes, I have seen LA clerics easily survive TT's drummer, mirror boss, and other AOE bosses, at as much as 5 levels below their arcane counterparts. You can guess which type of cleric I would rather have on my TT runs - the LA one, not the dead one, please, and thank you.

    An interesting computation would be to determine how many levels of weapon refine are needed to counter the healing advantage of arcane clerics. If someone has the answer, that would be a useful contribution to this thread.

    :) Yes, I chose LA for party survivability, if someone 5 extra mobs are dragged into party by accidental aggro, I can usually heal the squishies who need, it take the aggro myself, plume shell and easily continue keeping my party members alive while not to worried about dying from TT Mobs.

    A good example of LA usefulness imo is TT, last night I did 1-2, 1-3, 1-3 in a period of 4 1/2 - 5 hours. all the bosses, and I died once the entire time, because the damn ball stuck to the wall(fortunately I brought a rez scroll)
    And my barb's charm ticked maybe 15-20 times throughout an entire 1-3 run, most of those ticks happening at the end of aoe bosses when I could only BB.
    But 1-3 was easy, I was the lowest level member of the group.

    One of my party members mentioned they had been looking for a cleric to do TT with but no cleric in their faction could solo heal it, and even having two of them apparently sometimes they died.
    I loled at this, apparently the low 8x arcane clerics they were with just can't **** it?

    The idea for collecting wood armor gear is a great one, one that I am ashamed of not thinking of before, I just love wearing the same gear tbh, I chose LA so I would be ready for every situation, atm only swapping out belt and necklace for channeling vs pdef and hp.

    To prowler, I beleive my magic attack is somewhere between 750-1000 less then a full mag cleric, and somewhere between 500-750 less then a lower vit hybrid.

    TBH, the beauty of solo cleric is if you require to push out enough healing power, and you are making an effort to not allow the Barb's hp to go lower then 75% aka not get anywhere near a charm tick, you will build up a vast quantity of chi, fairly quickly Due to this I often use spark and advance spark with IH and Stream of rejuv to spike up that heal power when it is really needed.
    This is primarily noticed at drum boss and tentacle boss in 1-3 They have strong skills at the first that will do high dmg in one shot, for this stream of rejuv must be timed correctly with occasional IH thrown in for boost of HoT.
    I can usually allow no charm ticks before the AOE if I am paying attention 100%

    My current weapon is Sak +3, I think to gain back that dmg with the multiplier I might need to +5 or +6 my weapon. Imo it is not worth it now, I might actually +6 the weapon I will use from 80-90, at 89 I am going to use requiem blade for sure because of it's modifiers.

    Yeah... correct me if I'm wrong but most of the activities for getting exp from 90lvl is team based = rbs, frost, warsong. I'd rather be alive than have higher atk...

    + I'm using the green glaive, which is more of a DD weapon with higher atk add ons, so would compensate a bit for an LA lack, if I switch.

    I'm pretty sure that Sinanju a 101 lvl cleric on sanctuary is LA, last time I checked her gear.

    Yes. I do agreed that Cleric are meant for healing... But what is the point in that you keep on dying due to low HP? You don't even have time to heal yourself, especially fighting an AOE mob.. You will be busying healing yourself, and no time to heal the tanker...

    As an LA cleric, you have higher chance in surviving. Moreover, though you healing are not as good as a pure MAG cleric, but again, you are able to heal yourself, the tankers, and survive...

    So in my pov, I think LA is good, especially if you are higher lvl... Just get those + crit/dex for you armor, and +mag to your weapon, and you will be fine...

    I also got 3,1k hp unbuffed.

    Its just the level 78 LA legendary armor is alot cheaper than arcane.

    Edit: LA gear is generally really hard to sell for a reasonable price. Most of the archers out there are just too cheap I guess.

    Not bad, i see all (most) of your equipment has +hp or +vit, not to say you must be rich to have every peace sharded xD.

    On AoE note...HP + wood res. Most important stuff.
    And i stand by what i said, unless a LA cleric does not invest the same amount of coins in his arcane, he would do significant less then his arcane counter part.

    I paid about 4,5 mil at max for all that stuff on the pics. The necklace I just found. Also 3 mil for the weapon I got. Took me a while to get all that money so I don't think I am rich.

    What was the most costly on my arcane armor for aoe grinding is the 5 immac wood resist shards I added there. Each about 40k + 20k to imbue. Thats pretty far from 4,5 mil.

    I just finished buying my gold LA set and i'm currently looking for a "Blood Bracers of Fang", please msg me in game if anyone's selling one. x)
    Also, I'll be keeping an Arcane set on me for pve & pvp reasons.
