    Don't know what you'd need Dex for as a Wiz. Unless you wanted to use a bow. (not a good idea)

    A few points in Vit would help at lower levels. But a Pure Mag Wiz, only requires Mag and Str for armor.

    You dont need dex as pure-int.
    If you need some survivability add vit i suppose.
    But honestly, LA seems more viable at lower levels prior to 90 imo.

    since you're on PvP server, go LA ( 1 str 1 dex 3 mag / lvl). Cheap molders, good hp, nurfed dmg but u will survive.

    damage isnt that nurfed
    i can still hit crits 5k+ without double sparking
    Sins are Scissors. Psychics are Rocks.
    Archers, Venos, Barbs, Wizards, BMs, Mystics, Seekers are Paper.
    ...and Clerics are Mushrooms.
    Paper beats Rock. Scissors beats Paper. Scissors also happens to beat Rock...until Rock gets 50k+ soulforce at which point Rock becomes an unstoppable killing machine that beats Paper... and would beat Scissors but it can't find Scissors, because Scissors are invisible.
    So Scissors beat Paper and avoids Rock, and that is called BALANCE. -cheze

    Do people not understand what the word pure means? If you put points into anything else, you are not pure magic. Put points into vit and you're a vitality or hybrid wizard, put points into dex and your build is just messed up.

    Hybrid Vit wizards can usually take out a pure wizard, if you can play it skillfully.

    Dex wizards should cap at 20 for the extra 1% crit, going to 40 can mess up your damage a little.

    I'm Pure~Ex, with only 3VIT, and possibly removing some strength if I can get a sky demon pearl. I also have 6% crit for now(Base 1%, rings 4%, tome 1%). Thanks to pure build damage I already crit barbs for 8k with sandstorm.
    Currently flying internet spaceships around dodixie, moving to amarr soon.

    20 Dex for 1% is too much. Don't do it unless ur LA. 1 Vit = 10HP which isn't too great. Better to just use Citrines for hp and get crit rings/tomes/necklaces and possibly weapons for crits %.

    I can buff myself with nice water damage, save a lot on useless skills by just maxing frost blade, and rebirth squads love me because I don't take aggro b:chuckle

    Simply putting in vit to LA or Pure build isnt good becuase we mages(wizards) only get 10hp per 1 vit which is the lowest in all classes, so because of that ratio its not worth putting points into vit. Now What i am currently doing is going pure then im going to add dex and become a LA build whne i turn 60. It helps get past the lowbie levels and get up to the 60s. But its your character, so its ur decision.

    sorry but good hp? cuz we dont add any vit or do we? :O im just 26 i got hella poor hp im light armor

    and btwz i saw some1 saying before that should stop at 20 dex does it apply to me 2 cuz im la build or i just need to go each lvl 3 mag 1 str 1 dex till i feel like swiching to pure dmg

    and sorry for the nooby questions just trying to learn some more xD

    NO!!!!!!! Only add dexterity if you add the strength to go LA. Vitality is useless for wizards unless you're a vit. hybrid. You only get 10 hp per point, so the points that you would want to use for vit would be better off going into magic.

    Yes, similar grade gear will have similar refining bonus.

    Arcane mages with hp shards are failbots and need to lern2pdef
    Bladestorm lets you spin around like a carnival ride and do damage. Not using it is almost like having a move called Confetti Rocket Power Leap and saving it for "emergencies"

    Ok, just to let you know websites arent always accurate and you shouldnt base your info off just websites there should be real things that have been seen by yourself not just speculation. This is real screenshots from the game of two lvl 10 equipment wrist bracers, both +4 (one arcane, one light). Refine bonus is different, the end!!!!

    im nota pure wizzy i am my own char i put points into what i like i got 20 dex for crtics saves my but and a tiny bit of hp for a pinch of health lol like about 7 then 50 str for weps i jsut put points where i feel needed

    I would say this is only the case if you put all HP shards. I normally just put them in my wrist gear and boots. Pdef goes into chest/leg armor. And I mix with a pdef majority in my helm/cape
