I've noticed lately that a LOT of archers use the armor of grieving sorrow. I've seen it going in AH for over 1mil. I looked it up in the database and compared it to the HH80 and the HH80 light armor seems better.

Armor of Grieving Sorrow:

Physical Defence +585
Metal defence +910
Wood defence +910
Water defence +910
Fire defence +910
Earch defence +910

Earth Resistance +298
HP: +80
Reduce Physical damage taken +1%

Lunar Chaser Armor:

Physical Defence +597
Metal defence +930
Wood defence +930
Water defence +930
Fire defence +930
Earch defence +930

Metal Resistance +255
Dexterity +5~6
Reduce Physical damage taken +1%

They both give Reduce Phy damage taken 1%
The HH80 gives more phy and mag resistance, only difference being the HH80 gives a bonus to metal resistance and the armor of grieving sorrow gives a bonus to earth resistance. So it comes down to +5-6 dex vs +80 hp.

    - Yes, TT80 chest has better stats.

    - Armor of Grieving Sorrow formerly was very easy to obtain because it used to cost 10 Mysterious Chips. The Chip adjustment makes it more expensive now, but there should still be a lot of them floating around.

    - TT80 chest is expensive when compared to Armor of Grieving Sorrow. Not only do you need to farm the materials for it, you also need to decompose the TT70 chest (which many do not wear because of the the lvl 70 quest armor is sufficient).

Ok thanks for clearing that up. I already have the HH70 light armor to decompose so that won't be a problem, will just need to farm the mats.

70s go quick except the last 2 lvs.. U won't need any desconpositoon for 90...
I really see it as a waste if u farm mats for hh80.. Sorrow really is great n hp really helps a lot, I would rather recomend getting bracers n boots which u got no options other than 3*(except for bracers)

The HH80 armor is the best. It has DEX and greate defense. The extra HP from the lvl78 armor is more than neglibable.

Seems the 78 armor has a better reputation than it deserves. But I wont judge, I guess it is/was cheap.

On Sanctuary server, the molder armor is still around 500-700k each, while tt80 is 1.5-2 mil each. The difference in cost is significant.
