    • Do you think getting mats for TT/HH gear is worth it?

    I wrote down everything I'm going to need for my tt80 gear and this is going to take forever, and that's just for the ultimate substances. Then when I'm 80 I'm going to have to collect a ton of stuff in TT and not only that but I have the hardest time getting a squad for hh.

    So before I spend a month getting everything.. is it worth it?

      it is worth it but ask your self these first;

      -do you have a helpful faction for this?
      -if not, do you have some friends you can run TT together?
      -if not, do you have what it takes to make a squad from worldchats?
      -if not, are you able to get money to buy them mats off the AH?

      IMO, 70 and 80 aren't worth it, unless you try 80 gold. But if you have a faction that doesn't mind doing it, then by all means go for it.

      TT = best and cheap equipments that u can get right now


      it's actually more expensive to craft 3star gear since mats have a horrible price

      If you want to RB, you should go for the 78 legendary LA armor and restat. While it's possible for arcane wiz to RB, LA is just easier. I haven't looked into this but I've heard that LA TT is cheaper than arcane as well. Once you start to RB, you'll make good money for your TT 80 weapon etc.

      all armors of all types requires the same mats... how can be LA TT cheaper ? did u mean at AH ? (never see may TT equips at AH except tt80 bracers and boots)

      buy 3*** from auction house and refine to +1 quarter the price almost same thing.

      Or legendary since molds are becoming more and more common from Bounty Hunter.

      Hmm, I wish I knew how long my patience would last. I need 90 ultimate substances, which means 450 of four different mats each. Blehhh..

      LA armour(legend) for gamma= 2mil altogether. Thats hella cheap.

      Endless Ambiguity= 4mil. Things are getting expensive o.o

      Undine Strike= 5mil. x_x KO

      I managed it but it wasn't easy, I had to borrow a weapon while I was waiting on my ambi money. Undine was part farmed/part bought thanks to a citrine drop :D

      Besides, even the gold set is mostly made obselete by TT90 shirt and pants, don't bother getting the sleeves and shoes for 90... unless your blind.
      Currently flying internet spaceships around dodixie, moving to amarr soon.

      If you do PVP, I would say is worth it. If you just pve, you can live without it.

      IMO, for pve. you should use 3* armor or legenday. Then at 90, you get your TT90 armor (you dont need tt80 souledge to make tt90 armor).

      Also, I usually I make more money out of TT than in TT. Too many venos farming TT, prices have droped.

      Okay forget collecting these materials. Way to tedius for me. I'd buy the mats but I know how expensive they are and I'm always low on money. What's an alternative?

      u are an arcane user, if u wanna be cheap just grab a decent weapon and wait for 90

      I suggest u spend that month getting to lvl 90 instead than get some real gear ^^

      TT80 gear is really horrible imo, unless you're making the gold set. The stat bonus on TT80 really sucks, only wrist is decent.

      Better of just mix legendary (like lvl 77 sleeves), 2-3 star armor and w/e you can find. Also rank 4 top works fine up to lvl 90 and its free. Farming a full set of TT80 is prolly the biggest time waster i could ever imagine in this game. Just focus on getting a good lvl 80 weapon than keep lvling.

      Grab some molders, 3*s and have fun. My equipment before 90 was...

      78 LA Chest Molder
      78 LA Wrist Molder
      70 Arcane Pants Molder
      7x Arcane Boots

      If you're cheap, you can just not bother changing your equipment after getting a set.
