I just wanted to remind everyone that there are Role players or (RPers) out there in Perfect world. Me, personally, I have played several MMORPG's like WoW, Rappelz, Gateway to heaven, etc; WoW has hands down the best Role players I have seen. However, due to the nature of having to spend 15 - 16 dollars a month just doesn't seem worth the trouble, regardless that it has such great features, I don't care to fork over that much every month to play a game.
I found out about PWI after trying to find a good 'Role Playing' MMORPG that I could get use to. My friends and I were in the same boat and so we tried out PWI. The results are obvious, we really liked it and we saw some great potential for this game to became a really neet 'Role Play.' After playing for a couple of months now we found that there actually isn't a lot of serious 'Role Players' on PWI. It still baffles me a bit that this game isn't loaded with more RPers but it probably has something to do with the game being free to play; which proves that there is a different class of players depending on the game and if it's free to play or not. There is nothing wrong with how most people on this game play, however, it would be nice to interact with more RPers than just my few friends I have around me.
Although there are not a lot of serious RPers out there, for the ones who are among us in PWI Sanctuary, I and my friends say, "Don't get discouraged! There are RPers out there." While I have ranted slightly about the RPer situation in PWI, I'm here to let you know about a guild of mine that is all about 'serious' Role Play.
The guild is simply called 'RPguild' and we are a group of honest story makers who like to interact with people and other's Role Playing stories. We dedicate ourselves to our characters set emotions, story plots, leveling, relationships, and anything else that could be related to RP. Our leader is and elf cleric by the name of Aelduren, he fills everyone on the current situation with the guild story and some of the other things happening that can effect all our stories, if we are involved with the main guild story. Our guild has some strict rules but allows 'off topic' and 'Rl' talk within certain perimeters; such as all 'off topic' and 'RL' text is contained inside ( ) sigh.
There are other little details I will leave out for now, however, if your a serious 'RPer' just remember there are more of us out there and that our guild would be interested in you. If you are interested you can drop a mail to Aelduren, Telishia, or myself Nyrilia. We would like to hear what your opinion might be about Role playing and where you may or may not stand with it.

    Why would someone spam it? While I am in my father's guild it isn't very active and a chance to really RP would be a great thing. Do you have a need for a very helpful cleric?

    I remember way back when AOL (net provider) was popular they had fantasy chat rooms. You literally had to be a mysterious gypsy girl stripping in a imaginary bar to get any attention cause pple did their own thing....b:surrender

    Just curious, how are you supposed to apply for the guild? I'm really interested as my friend and I have been looking for an RP community.

    Aelduran sets up most of the guild story, and lets the members react to current situations to move the plot along. A lot of people follow the guild story but go about it in their own way. For example, the guild has titles (or classes) that are given to members that place them in the guild story such as, Aelduran is a lord, Telishia is a beast Representative, or other classes/jobs that can relate to RP. I, myself, am a merchant that sells resources, healing items, and alchemy supplies. The twist is that some of my wares are sold to shady factions.

    So you can sorta see where your class/job can effect the guild story, or not if you so desire. Our guild is small right now, but our hope that is it will get bigger and we can involve more people in the guild story and build an RP community.

    As far as applying for the guild you can post your character's story here or mail Aelduran in game. Aelduran is the guild leader, he is a serious RPer so whatever the story I'm sure he would like to hear about it. After you post your story or mail him info, we take a look at it and see what we can do to set you into a class/job so you can start in the guild story and make your own impact on it if you want. If you don't want to effect the guild story or are not sure about it, but want to join the guild because of our RP community, then we are fine with that too. Also, if you need any help with RP or need an explanation for where the story is or where you can fit in just ask me, Telishia, or Aelduran and we will help you.

    Is it possible to join with an alt? XD im curious but I cant leave my current fac cause I lead it.

    Absolutely! We don't expect players to be on 24/7, or super active to be apart of this guild. We understand that people have other characters, and have lives outside of the game. We totally respect anyone's playing habits whether it be on all the time or on every so often.

    Something that becomes a factor in class/job assigned to your character ( after review and story) is how much the character is active or not but for most positions we over look that. Roughly, yes, alts are accepted.

    I probably should have mentioned this earlier however, I will now to avoid confusion. If you would like to join our guild PM me or post your characters background here. That way I can send a copy to Aelduren to check out and see where you can be involved in the guild story.

    I apologize for any confusion on signing up, we just want to make sure where everyone who wants to join our guild stands on RP. We would like the stories to run freely but also with some guidelines to help it move along. That way everyone who wants to participate can do so without feeling left out or harassed by other players who don't follow rules. After Aelduren takes a look at it he will let me know and I'll pm you back with some information, rules, Classes/jobs, and any questions that we may have for you before you join.
