Problems Minimizing..?

Hi,

When I play PWI full screen (window mode seems not to be an option for me) it runs fine, but if I have to minimize, or something pops up on my desktop and forces it to minimize, I lose the game and I have to "ctrl alt delete" it twice or else it stays on my taskbar.

A while ago, I could run the SAME full screen game and minimize all I wanted without it messing up. So does this mean it's a problem with my computer?

Someone want to give me any tips or ideas that could solve this problem? It's really annoying. :/

I use Windows XP if that helps any..
