Gear protection?

well. i didnt know what topic this was going into so sry if wrong

ingame since a day ago i cant unequip my gear (armor, wep etc.) and put it into my invent. a box is showing "ger protection: for your protection gear slot and wardrobe will be locked each time you log in. enter safe code password"

i have no idea how that did happen, and ive tried some of my passwords but none worked. any1 know how to fix this?

    Send a ticket, sounds like you messed around with the Safety Lock.

    What you need to do is login to the game and wait for the little lock icon next to your character's class to unlock. Then click the lock icon, change the setting to 0 hrs 1 mins and click "Done". From then on it will only take a minute for things to unlock.

    It's basically a safety setting to make it harder for roommates/siblings/etc. to mess around with your account if they somehow get your password.

    Well, you right, but the change will take 72 hours to activate. So do not EVER touch this safety lock unless you absolutely have to.

    Do you have a password set on your bank? Since that's what it sounds like to me, so if you do(due to to a patch that was couple weeks ago), you have to enter in that password once per log in when trying to move gear around and etc. Then it'll pop up a little window saying **** and just hit enter/ok button on the pop up and now can move your gear around and etc.

    I have same thing, due to having a password on my bank, gotta enter it before it lets me move gear.

    Either can do that way, or just go to your bank, open, put in password and close the little pop up that pops up and you now can do it all to. Don't know why they did it, just was done(didn't read much beyond the point of having to enter it in if you have one when trying to move gear around and etc).

    Don't do what this person says it is for your safe password not safty lock.Whatever your password is for entering your safe that is what it is asking for the little pop up box.

    For some reason i just made a new character and i made a password for my bank a long time ago and now everytime i try to change my gear is says I need a "Gear Protection" pass word but I dont know what the pass is.

    Please don't post in threads that have been unused for over 30 days. Thread necro is bad.

    Anyways, apparently you set the bank password, which also protects your gear the first time you try to change that. Just put in your bank password for your gear protection password and then you shouldn't have any problems.

    If you lost your password you'll have to send in a ticket to get that fixed.
