This build...I'm confused

Should one really follow this build for best tanking? Mabye I'm looking at it wrong, but it RARELY allows enough excess to add points into Vitality.

Please enlighten me =P I'm level 13 atm and have been follow this guide and just recently noticed that it doesnt seem to add enough vitality to be a tank (well thats comming from somebody with no experience lol)

    On a side note, I jsut noticed that following this I don't even have enough STR for my level 19 FB weapon...and thats if I add all 5 points into STR from 13-19...

    It's common. You won't have enough str for the fb19 weap 'til I believe level 20 or 21. (Pretty sure 20) As for the build list, I never followed it. What most do is just go to blacksmith/tailor and check future weap/gear stats...then figure out how you want to raise them in order to use the stuff once you reach that level. If I remember correctly, there will be some levels where you'll add all str instead of let's say 2 str 3 vit or 2 vit and 3 str. End-game dex is 49, that is if you're wanting only level 90 which is what a lot of people do then just give up leveling...so you won't have to add much dex at all.

    Btw, the first weapon you get from the chest that you can open every 5 levels is I think better than the fb19 weap, not sure if it's same stats but I'd use it.

    u always need more STR than VIT since the weapons we use requires a lot of it


    I have 200 vit and 300 str o,o

    Dont follow build lists. They only work for other classes. Barbarians cant follow a build, because u have to add the points as u see fit, no build can be exactly right for Barbs. U need Minimum Str and Dex, and rest into Vitality

    Build lists never made sense tome. I just make it so I can tnak things, and if I need more, ilook for better gears. I can only use my level 70 axes because I have legendary gear with +3 to +5 strength, top to bottom.

    Actually with my new hat I'm overboard and can equip +vit now too. I love having so many sets of armor. XD I need some light armor my level now so I can have it easier with magic only mobs like Triocs and some jerk bosses.

    And yes, I once had to force a cleric to tank Hercule Trioc. I thought she was gonna cry, but she managed to keep hell aggro on herself pretty good. ;>_>
    I was much lower than I am now.

    I personally followed this build on my barb til ~15 or so, then followed everyones advice -- make your OWN build, just look at future str/dex requirements, meet them, then pump vitality b:bye

    On my old barb, i followed that build exactly and it had 1 more dex than needed. It also had 1 less str than needed at level 37.b:sad

    Thats what Dai's build does.

    He just put up the list on what to add so it might easier for you people to see.
