What does "Held by..." mean when entering a territory?

I keep seeing "Held by Calamity," when I enter an area. What does that mean?

    That means *Calamity* faction won the territory at TW for more info about TW here: http://pwi.perfectworld.com/guide/territory

    In PW factions/guilds can fight for and then hold territorys. The "Held by..." means that a faction is the current "owner" of that particular one. Factions get 10 million ingame coin per land.

    Some lands give 20 or 30 million, though.
