Problems with aerocraft manufacturing

So I have the spotted skymanta, I did the first upgrade. I wanted to upgrade again, but apparently you can only do it once, or so another forum said, so I bought a second with the intention of upgrading that one and selling the first.

I have the 80 widgets and my spotted skymanta, I have enough gold, and CAN'T do the highest upgrade! I can put the widgets in place but not the manta. What's wrong? I'm really upset.

    nm, I figured out you have to do each upgrade. No skippin X(
