it wont let me trade old book pages for weapon mastery pages in the 1k streams skill forges... any help here?

do i need to have all 20 old book pages to start the process?

    The recipe for that forge appears to have been programmed backwards. Rather than exchanging old book pages for weapon mastery pages, you are able to exchange weapon mastery pages for old book pages.

    Of course there is no source in the game for weapon mastery pages.

    This is yet another recipe of the unattainable (you tend to see alot of those in this game for some clumsy reason).

    yea... sucks cause like more than half of the demon barb skills are useless for pk from old book pages Q_Q and ive already got sunder.... so all i really want is penetrate armor and onslaught... oh well, i guess ill try my luck then

    cause on HT theres probably less than 10 demon barbs, so not alot of market for our skills... it sucks

    I know this is probably something you tried, but, like the when making tomes, have you tried to physicaly drag and drop the pages into the little slot?
    Too often we loose sight of life's simple pleasures. Remember, when someone annoys you, it takes 42 muscles in your face to frown, BUT, it only takes 4 muscles to extend your arm and slap that mother#$@%#^! upside the head.

    You can use mastery pages to make the mastery book (this would work), you can use mastery pages to make old book pages (this would work too), there is no way to obtain a mastery page.

    No quests award them, no mob drops them, no recipes create them, no chests you can harvest them. They don't exist and the most likely reason is that the recipe for creating OBPs from mastery pages is backwards.

    Just use OBPs and hope for the best. I got Demon Bow Mastery yesterday.

    Pfff, what is with this insistence? It's not as if GMs or Mods are experts in the game -_-
    A GM is a system administrator. A Mod is a community moderator. Neither job requires you to pass a quiz on game mechanics or esoteric forge recipes.

    Have you tried sending in a support ticket labeling it as a bug? If they function somewhat similar to other game companies, that can atleast get it sent through to their QA department for them to internally bug it and decide if they can work in the time to fix it rather than having a GM forward the same comments anyways.

    The last thing you should do is expect the GMs to know anything.

    And btw the way it works is you need a full set of 20 to exchange. And I believe 200 total to get enough pages to get what you want. That's 10 attempts, don't waste the old book pages.

    same thing, when u drop a veno 92-99 book u can sell it for damn high prices, but I don't think u can do the same with books that are good only for 5-6 persons silly

    Even though their arent many demon barbs the demon 92 skills still require 20 OBP's which in sanct server goes around for 500k each meaning 10mil a skill so i doubt demon barbs skills wont be going down because there will only be very few of you guys making actual demon barb book skills.

    79 skills = 20 apoc pages from fb89 tt2-2 / 1-3
    89 skills = 3 come from fb 89 bosses, the rest from fb99 (last boss has 10% chance to drop 1 of 96 books)
    92 skills = 20 old book pages from Rebirth Delta stage 3+ or made from book credit cards in cube lottery at 96+
    99 skills = 30 pages of fate from completing cube at 90+
    100 skills = 20 chrono pages from world bosses, mini world bosses, card bosses, past mobs

    Asterelle is right, you can combine 20 OBPs into one of the random 92 skills (including masteries).

    However, the above mentioned process of turning OBPs directly into mastery pages and hence, mastery pages into the actual mastery skill book, isn't implemented. Nor are the advanced pages.
