Newb question about Fairy & Pixie

I saw a lvl 80+ char in town with a tiny little pixie or fairy flying around her body... what pet is that..? its was tiny..!

I have not seen it listed on the rare pets list..

    The player was level 89+. What you saw was a fairy which signifies their spiritual orientation (sage / demon). You get it after the level 89 culti.

    Ah, that's not actually a pet, it denotes whether you've went the 'Heaven Path' or 'Hell Path' in your lvl 89 culti

    It is not a pet.....It is a Demon or Sage fairy.

    You may have seen a genie. they arent pets and you get them from a quest. i dont know about the sage and demon stuff, but genies look like little elemental pixies flying around a character.

    Well it might have been a genie for all we know. It sounds more like a demon or sage fairy to me, but hey he/she was just trying to help.
