The most fun I had in this game was in cb0

LOL b:chuckle I can't believe you made a chart for that. Very nice though.
If and when you quit since the game is so boring for you, mind giving a bit of donations for someone like me who is sorta still starting? b:victorytatuaje: grinding mobs and zhenning ???
frankieraye:All right, I admit it, it's a bit retro. lol.0 -

aww thanks devoted b:cute lol0 -
yeah that chart is pretty accurate. wouldve been nice to see a pvp faction like rq take over the majority of lands. then people would be more interested in rallying against the top faction instead of joining them and carebearing it up. b:cute0

i think you misread that cbastor[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
Well done Sorbik. b:pleased0

I interpreted your graph as the future of any game that RQ decides to play.0
-
Im not giving away anything, im not even quitting yet.
Im at work right now actually, and im working two jobs for the next week or so for some extra cash, before I move out.
Anyways, my point is this:
We have become accustomed to the enjoyment that RQ brings in PWI. Anything less of that just feels bland. Everyone felt it when the 2nd generation core of RQ quit. The game took a plunge.
"I'm so ****ing bored right now"
"Give me something to do"
"Wanna play something else?"
Yeah I got these PMs, especially from the very same who quit.
There's no objective anymore. Even conqueror cores are re-rolling RQ for their next game. RQ brings fun into games, and in this instance, sucked it right out.0 -
If that's how you feel about the "new" RQ after all the "old" members left, then I guess its about time I take my leave of RQ too. Isn't it?0
-
So, why don't a squad of high level red names unite and create some anarchy on the server?
If you group up in a large enough of a size then just go patrolling around Pking the **** out of everything that moves and is white/red named?
Or is that just fun times for me.tatuaje: grinding mobs and zhenning ???

It's hard to find people of equal level willing to fight. Killing anyone under 90 is boring and most people 90+ can't be found because they are in adc chatting. The only way for me to ever fight another 9x is usually point 29. Rarely are they alone... running around the whole map killing everything is just a time killer and people are used to it so it doesn't affect them like it did earlier on.
But ya it's true, the server was fun until around december when the server-wide tw drama was slowing down. RQ was probably the only people after that to keep the game fun.0 -

RageQuit provides purpose. Don't belive me? Click Alternatively you can dig through these forums to the CB days. Before the game is even released animosity stirs, rivals brew, tension rises, and RageQuit conquers.
Recall; amongst the kicking, screaming, cursing, and hatred towards RageQuit, there is an undeniable purpose. Inherently, binded to each time you get Pked by RageQuit, there is excitement. There is motive. The enjoyment from this game clearly stems from the same origin. The certain psychology associated with the world RageQuit. The urge to level in hopes that one day the game will be reversed.
Imagine a lackluster world without RageQuit.
Now I'm not naive; RageQuit now isn't RageQuit then. Yet the same natural subculture exists, albeit to a much lesser magnitude. Some of the older RQ quit because the newer members didn't live up to their psychological profile.
So what's the purpose to this thread?
Perhaps it's to raise awareness to what I can only describe as the familiar RageQuit complex.
Perhaps it's to eccentrisize my own guild.
Perhaps it's to justify the answer to "Why are you still tagged up?" as I have been all-too-often asked.
You decide. I don't like to think too much because my mind unconsciously wanders -- what's left is convoluded rhetoric. My writing was never keen in providing answers, only more questions.
RageQuit did help lost city in terms of making the game more fun. Without an enemy this game would lose every person playing for the competitive nature. There will always be an enemy but RageQuit is just that much better at it. I was going to always play the first server elyos before I knew where anyone was going but with rq going there it just makes it easier for me to choose. Every server will have its drama and fights but playing on rq's server I know I'm guaranteed lolz. I've thought of going asmo just so I'd have fun people to fight against but I heard you can't talk to the other faction so I'll probably be fighting along side rq in the abyss and rifts. Love or hate them rq does bring another dimension to the server that no one can match.\
edit: And yeah aionsource is a lot like pwi pre release just on a larger scale. Except for the fact the people there are 100x easier to troll.0 -

Then call this a prologue; pertaining to server longevity.
RageQuit keeps the server alive.
Not the Conqueror paradox, claiming to save the average by defending them vs random PKing RageQuit.
Not the content updates and patches.
Not N'Sync, where there are no lines between friend or foe, where random PK is an illusion to RageQuit-induced excitement, where there is no collective set of ideals. Imperfect imitations, like those who erect their posture and articulate when I tell them I'm becoming a doctor.Devoted wrote:so I'll probably be fighting along side rq in the abyss and rifts. That Elyos thread is teh lawlz. But if you notice carefully it's pretty much Pandora being the forum warrior that he is and the rest of the faction making hasty/clever/random remarks a few pages later : RQ is not a family it's just one guy making amusing comments and a lot of people following that guy.
Bleh, RQ was good when I was there (as a nobody ofc), but it's not all it's hyped up to be. If you want a faction that's a unified family choose something different, RQ is too cliquey (yes that's a word).
P.S. The RQ waitlist is just there to make RQ feel better. Pandora doesn't actually respect any of those people. If he did, they wouldn't be waitlisted.0 -

I can't believe there's still Pandora drama on these forums.
PS the waitlist has been there since we knew how many people could fit in a guild in ****. Its got nothing to who is more well liked, it was about who signed up first.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
lol Pandora wouldn't put NobelOne on the waiting list XD[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Very accurate chart, I don't think many people other than carebears would disagree. Without RQ pretty much all of the pking in Lost City would be CQ vs BL, CQ vs Spectral, CQ vs Riot.
