    i have always thought that BIDS was stronger in pve than BT but at lvl1 BT is alot stronger. does this stay the same at end game or does it switch and BIDS gets stronger?

      If you test these 2 ulti against 1 target then there is a lot of factor that can distort the result, but the stats show that BIDS do more damage before factoring enemy stats in.

      You really can't compare the 2 to see which one are stronger without specifying the criteria, it would be like compare a car with a spoon and ask which one is better.

      If you talk about status effect BIDS beat BT hand down.
      If you talk about damage they are still too different to compare. BT is both physical and fire elemental so is good against robe user, whoever don't have fire resistant on and metal monster. BIDS is water so good against fire monster and whoever without water resistant. But if the target is equally resistant against all type of attack then BIDS beat BT hand down.
      If you talk about time efficiency then BIDS beat a bit and only a bit by 0.2 sec faster casting time.

      Overall I think BIDS is better BT better use is to beat low physical defence target.

      Water and Fire defense are the same. But physical defense is lower. That is why BT does more damage on mobs.

      Mobs tend to have less pdef than mdef, so if they're not fire mobs/increased defense, tempest away. Although, sparking/sutra > tempest for just 1 mob, so only use it if it hits 2+

      i meant dmg wise on PVE only. i dont PVP. but BT will beat BIDS on a non element mob. at skill lvl 1 anyways. i get that as the mob has less phys def BT does more. i should have put my question better lol. what i was asking is that at higher lvls is BT better than BIDS for PVE. so take lvl 10 BIDS and lvl 10 BT and do it on a non element mob. which one does more dmg? the reason why is because i like big dmg and wanna see which skill to lvl first.

      If you want the maximum damage possible on non-elemental mobs, then find a monster in water, throw in a genie skill Battle Ripple of Oblivion, then do the level 10 BIDS.
      But I will take BT over BIDS anyday. BIDS help you kill much faster if you choose the correct mobs to grind on, but BT is what will help you a lot more when you face magic resistant mobs.

      nice b:pleased still baffles me that if u add up BT lvl 10 u get 400% + 7720.8 but BIDS u get 500% + 9648.9

      lol just worked it out and it dont baffle me no more lol.
      u get 2k dmg more and magic attack off a weapon will be maybe 1k? so thats like 3k. the phys resist isnt a huge diff % (less than 10%) wise so it would have to use base magic twice on BT? i got 3k-3.5k magic attack at 60 so at 90-100 itll be a lot higher. so BT does more dmg as it will have more than 3k from the base magic attack.

      dont forget that BT dont oly double the weapon XX% and dmg bonus oly...it double the base mag atk that all skills have and wich is rly hight at hight lvs=P

      BT>BIDS all situations for me

      BT = Base Magic (my big 7k-ish stat) Fire and Base magic Physical (so like 14k already) + 200% Weapon (my 1.5k~ish stat) Fire and 200% Physical (Another 6k) = 10k Physical + 10k Fire
      BIDS = Base Magic Water (7k-ish) + 500% Weapon (7.5k-ish) = 14.5k-ish Water only damage.

      Go figure.
      I managed to hit level 104 on a X5 rates server!

      My server has Inactive Nirvana Urns. We have no 79 or 100 skills T.T

      well, this speaking from your experience, right?
      now joking aside, none is better than the other.
      Depends what class u hit. BT will **** Robes and LA, especially after an undine. BIDS is extremely good on HA in TW, especially if the communication with the cleric in your team is good and he debuffs the barb for mdef+undine+posion and BIDS can pretty much cripple a cata puller.

      Single target LA = undine + Dragon
      Multiple LA (TW/group) = BT, because you can't undine them all


      That's pretty much what I do, anyway. Also, if they have cleric+BM buffs Dragon will do better.
      Wondering how much longer these **** packs are going to be around.
