Glitched boots stole my stats!

I had 27 dex, then when upgrading my armor at the auction house I bought a pair of Stoneblood sabatons. They require 27 dex exactly. So when I put them on they turned red like I wasn't supposed to use them. Then I put my other boots on and when the Stoneblood sabatons went down to my inventory they went back to being colored instead of red. I didn't think too much of it so I put them back on. When I started lagging in game I went to "exit to desktop" then restarted game. When I got back in the game I took the boots off and could no longer put them on. I pressed "C" to look at my stats, low and behold I now no longer have 27 dex, I have 25.

Can somebody please help me get my 2 points back? And yea it's a big deal for a barbarian since I don't want to re-invest into dex. Also are the boots fixable? I payed like 80k or something, it would be a shame to have to NPC them.

    The problem here is not a bug. The boots you had on at first, gave you +2 dex. When you take them off, you no longer have +2 dex from those boots, making your new ones not work.

    As you level (and have new armour requirements), you will need to invest more into Dex anyway so there's nothing wrong with doing so now.

    Thanks Zoe I didn't think of that. lol I about had a heart attack thinking I'd have to re-level a barb again. lol good call. I hope that was the cause.

    I report this same problem in this setion less than 24 hours ago, with a more serious concern (concerning TOS), but nobody care to reply b:angry b:angry
    Blame it all on the invisible panty thread that attract all the attention. b:cry
