What are some of the absurd excuses you've heard for anything? Whether it be for leaving a guild, losing at fighting or war, anything.

The one so far I'd have to say...

A member wanting to random PK (this was told to a member), but the excuse was that her boyfriend said that there were too many guys in the guild (so she left cause of her "boyfriend's paranoia").

    I think my favourite was "Guys, I have to leave guild because I have the flu"
    Bladestorm lets you spin around like a carnival ride and do damage. Not using it is almost like having a move called Confetti Rocket Power Leap and saving it for "emergencies"

    I think the lamest excuse (lie) I have ever heard is the "this is a new player/I just bought this char" one. Generally it is an excuse for some **** move and an attempt to get people to stop PKing them or ever trust them again.

    This is what SoAsian tried after he took a mold in a guild-mates fb run, then immediately left guild. He tried to pretend to be his cousin and even had his "cousin" read a prepared apology to the guild. We all had a good laugh at that one.

    and dude! yeah SoAsian! He picked up the drops in hh that we were trying to give to the banker then he left squad and started to town tele!

    OF course we all whooped him before he could leave, then he claimed that "he was joking"

    Leaving the guild because they want to make a "sister" guild to "feed" players into the current guild. My ****!

    what i find funny is when people leave group saying "ive gotta go off game now sorry"

    less thana minute later you see them running around killing tihngs hehe

    I use that one whenever I hang around a starter town and end up with a lv.4 stalker.

    About 17 levels ago - I'm going into a fb59 supposedly as a backup healer to a much higher level cleric. After spending 2/3rds of the FB afk following someone else he declares at the last boss 'You're doing fine healing' and proceeds to lay down in front of the boss, spam smiley faces, and brag about his guild while the poor barb tank's charm ticked over and over. He got up in time to grab a couple of the drops and ditch us without helping at the central pillar b:victory

    I once had a guy who was our friend for like 3 years leaving the guild just because, as he posted himself on our forum, 1 day logged in, said 'hi' and our leader (who was afk) didnt say 'hi' back. Then he joined a guild that had a piece of land and later that week he tried stealing all our high levels.

    Apparentely greed > old friendships.

    It's funny that people have to gang up to kill an arcane veno. Shouldn't a certain single skill be enough to kill me? Oh wait, nope, it doesn't really bother me too much at this point I have too much hp and def. Can't beat me even with it so they have to doubleteam since they never learned how to fight without a certain thing.

    8X BM says, "You guys are like family but I'm leaving to get stronger and when i do i'll come back." Guild he left can do rebirth gamma, fb all the way to 89 (they havent tried at the time fb99), all TT except 3-3. After leaving keeps no contact with former guild even though he has access still on their forums and when they speak to him he runs off/ignores, then joins another guild cause it has some lvl 100's, a couple weeks later tries to join #1 guild on server where he is rejected cause this statement was seen by an alt in that guild the 8X BM first left at the time. "We dont want people who lie to an entire guild that they called family." is what the officer in #1 guild said. b:victory

    Archers, Venos, Barbs, Wizards, BMs, Mystics, Seekers are Paper.
    ...and Clerics are Mushrooms.
    Paper beats Rock. Scissors beats Paper. Scissors also happens to beat Rock...until Rock gets 50k+ soulforce at which point Rock becomes an unstoppable killing machine that beats Paper... and would beat Scissors but it can't find Scissors, because Scissors are invisible.
    So Scissors beat Paper and avoids Rock, and that is called BALANCE. -cheze

    Ok now if you grind 15 hours a day would you not expect to pass up everyone else? Having been in the same faction for 3-4 months I find that odd. You toss your friends to the wind because they can no longer "help" you.

    Leader hadn't been online other than to say hi and leave for more than a month. For 2 weeks they hadn't been on at all. I'd say.. it was inevitable. Kinda hard to set rules involving the leader of a faction and then the leader never be there. :) Anyways.. thats my best one. Maybe it was lame we all left.. but we had good reason.

    Eh, some guy in our guild asked for help, and no one replied. (Half the people online were fighting jewelscalen, the other half was in FB59).
    Then after about 1 hour of silence in our guild he was like.
    "K this is official, our faction is dead.
    Bye bye everyone"
    __has left the faction.

    After that everyone was like wtf?

    reason for leaving a guild: "i left because my friend wants me to" in other words: "i left because i have no mind of my own and my friend decides what i should and should not do"

    reason for losing a fight: "you only won because of a lucky crit"
    in other words: "i'm too dumb to realize that if some one have a 21% crit rate a crit really isnt lucky at all so imma sit here and QQ about a crit that really isnt lucky at all"
    I don't care how old or young you are, how small your **** is, how much of a nerd irl you are or how depressed you are that you never will get laid. There is no reason to act like an A-hole to everyone on an mmorpg. Its a shame that I have to take time out of my day to tell people "stop being an A-hole". So I end with this, if your acting like an A-hole, and some one tells you your being an A-hole chances are your being an A-hole.

    In an fb39, cleric lured a bunch of mobs and wiped out the entire party (all of us were around that level we liked doing Fbs the 'challenging' way). His excuse? "I pressed the wrong button cos my girlfriend was talking to me." But later he pms me that he wanted to see if he could lure the mobs, it wasn't a "press the wrong button".
