Hello everyone
I read alot that at higher levels it becomes very hard to earn coins ingame, however I occasionally see a "buy and sell" catshop in west archo. The idea behind it is that players can go there to sell their stuff at a higher price than they would at the npc and the buyer then resells it again to make profit.
With skill costs, repair costs (especially as a barbarian) raising steadily with the levels I've come to think this might be a solution to solve the problem before it even happens (currently I have around 400k...) Not to mention extra coins to maybe buy some boutique stuff with will definitely come in handy.
My question is: at what level does it become manageable to maintain such a catshop? What mats/items should I look into etc.

Any level you want but my recommendation for earliest time would be around 23+ By then you get some decent DQ items. Some of those items are required by quests.
List of worthy stuff:
-Dull Claw
-Element fragment
-Complete sack
-Honey Juice
-Hay
-Rough Fur*
-Silk Thread*
-Purified Oil*
*required to craft weapon/armor. Keep these mats if you wish to up your crafting skills.
There's lots more but this is just a common list of things...
Basically to earn money just pick up everything on the ground xD. If people leave items behind, pick up the litter.
If you see a tree stump or a pile of rocks, mine it.
b:bye hope that helps0 -
Would buying and selling celestones work? I have alot of them and it won't be until the later levels that I will actually need them...0

depends.. if you sell them now for 1k (for example) and later on in game you buy for 1.5k or something you didn't really make a profit >.<
For me the key thing is to get as many mats/dq items as possible. Use what you need and sell what you don't. Never buy something you can farm yourself0 -
do like me and alot others, look alot in AH and buy whatevers cheap, you already have a good base money to start with. Fashion cloths are wonderful to make money on. I have made most my money like that.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0
