Insufficient amo??

Sorry to be such a newb b:shutup

On my lvl 4 elf, I was able to use my bow and arrow, but for some reason it just stopped letting me, making me have to fist fight over these last few days.

I click on the wooden bow it'll let me equip, but apparently I don't have any amo, because it says "insufficient amo" when I hit these fang arrows I have in my bag.

I don't understand how to fix this, what can I do?

    Wooden bow is grade 0, and the only ammo you can use with it is are the arrows you started with.

    What you need is a grade 1 bow (called Bamboo Bow) - then you'll be able to equip the arrows. (Note that you should've received a bow as a quest reward on your very first quest ... but I'm guessing that's gone now). You can buy the Bamboo Bow from one of the Blacksmiths in City of Plume.

    Or at lvl 5, you can get a Perfect Military Longbow out of your Supply Stash (you did pick that up ... right?)
