The U.S.A

I was just watching a documentary the other day about how the U.S.A nuked Horoshima.
I just wanted to say how could they do such a thing the amount of lives they took and the amount of people in Japan that suffered is unbelievable.
I know that the Japanese attacked pearl harbour but at least there weren't any civilian casualties and if there was it was very low.
But most of the people that died in Horoshima were civilians. I can't believe that the U.S.A got away with this it was barbaric and just disgusting.
When I think about the stuff that the U.S.A has done over the years it makes me sick. I can't take this country any more. Nothing is real here it's all false, it's all a lie.
Yesterday we had to stand up and sing the national anthem and I refused to do It needless to say I was sent home that day.
My friends think I'm crazy. I play for the football team and I'm pretty good, But I think I'm gonna quit 'cos I'm tired of this ****. People here are so ignorant it drives me mad. they listen to what they're told and don't ask questions.
Josephine Baker was right: what's the point of the statue of Liberty when there is none.
The GM's will probably close this thread as usual we're not aloud to discuss stuff. So I'll just shut up now b:shutup

Go move to Russia.
"Nothing is real here it's all false, it's all a lie."
If you weren't there you don't know what are these so called "lies". All you are doing are trying to is bring up conspiracies. If you don't like this country, then move? It's a pretty simple solution and we won't miss you b:bye0 -
I can't move I'm under age.
And I aint talking about conspiracy theories.LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL0 -
WHAT????? b:shocked Atleast if anyone died in the Pearl Harbour attack they were not civilians??
So just because someone carries a gun in the army makes it ok that they lost their life in that attack?
You need to get your facts straight and perhaps go have a little talk with a phycologist.
When it comes to reataliation at any moment in time, you never reataliate to a lesser degree or even equal. You retaliate to such a great degree that it ends whatever issue is at hand. That is what the USA did and it worked very well since it pretty much slammed the door shut on WW2.
The USA may have done many bad things in time but sometimes the people have to make hard descision and they look horrible for those choices. I am not a US American but have no hard feeling about the majority of history making choices their government has made.tatuaje: grinding mobs and zhenning ???

If you're under age then tbh you know nothing except what has been told to you. "Nothing is real here it's all false, it's all a lie." I have no idea to what that refers to.
You're just asking for trouble by posting this thread.0 -
See what I mean every post here has proven my point.
Just because I speak out about what America does i need to see a pshychologist. The bombing of Hiroshima did not end WWII. It ended the little dispute between Japan and the USA.
Innocent people died in Hiroshima they had nothing to do with it.
And just because i'm under age doesn't mean I don't know anything unlike you bowlin bob i research.LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL0 -

Just because you got done watching a video and have it fresh in your mind doesn't make you smarter.
Also, Tat has a point, if the USA didn't do what they did to retaliate that strongly the battle would have continued. Possibly on our land instead of theirs. They started the fight, we ended it. And it's not like there we're no civilian casualties on our end at Pearl Harbor, I'm sure that there was.0 -
How do you determine the term "Innocent" when you say innocent people died in Japon.
Does that mean all the people that are US americans that die are not innocent?
Get your thougths striaght.
Do you think that the Japenese people were against all choices made by the government and Military Officials? No, I am sure they supported their country with pride of success. Some may not have but you can never make everyone happy and this thread is a good example.
There will always be "innocent" deaths in war, that is just how it works.tatuaje: grinding mobs and zhenning ???

The fact is, they shouldn't have attacked us if they were not to prepare for the consequences.
Edit: the OP makes it sound like they bombed us... so lets turn right around and bomb them.
This is not the case, from what I remember these 2 events were FOUR years apart. I can find it understandable that the USA finally got tired of fighting with 1 hand held behind their back and finally bombing Japan to such a degree to end the war/ or to lead to the end of it.0 -
To be fair, Truman, the president at the time, didn't know what he was really doing until after he ordered the bomb dropped. While he probably did know that the weapon he was deploying was powerful, he didn't know exactly what it would do to the cities that were being targeted. The two cities also had some military value to Japan, which is why they were chosen in the first place.
I'm not saying this to excuse what happened, I'm just saying that the l do think it's unfair to call the USA a terrible place just because of something that happened during a war. Yes, we've made some bad choices in the past (and even the present), but that doesn't mean this is a bad country by any means.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
Be nice to people0 -
I'm not calling the U.S.A a terrible place I'm saying that a lot of people in it are deluded.
The U.S.A was built on the death of the natives.
That sentence sums it all up.LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL0 -

You're an example.
The fact that I was in so much trouble at school because I used my free will is an example.
The millions that worship the flag are an example.LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL0 -

And you needed to come to a PWI forum to state the obvious. The way you are going about trying to get your point across is not the proper way.
Do you not think that every country in the world does not have people who believe and trust their country with blind acceptance?
This thread is starting to become pointless. I thought you would atleast continue on something worthy of debating.tatuaje: grinding mobs and zhenning ???

Shall we spend the next 100 years reviewing every countries history of bloodshed?? You use such general examples which prove nothing of delusion.tatuaje: grinding mobs and zhenning ???

Lame....gonna make me use some of my thinking this morning b:angry
Anyways...for the poster and this is meant with the utmost respect:
1) Do a little more research PLEASE!! Never rely on one source of information to base an opinion of something on. This will get you no where in life.
2) There were civilian deaths at Pearl Harbor (see above)
3) If you want to get technical....picking on ONE country for the deaths of others is ridiculous. This would be whether they were right or wrong...
Let me explain: There is always going to be some type of conflict between certain countries. Has you done any research, you would be aware that there are currently (at least) 7 on going conflict throughout the world that cause over 1000+ deaths a year and another 7 conflicts (at least) that have a slightly lower average of deaths per year. Even better some of these conflicts started at long ago as 1920 and are still continuing to this day.
Now, having said that...this does not even touch the surface if you want to include Terrorist Incidents!
Therefore....before I begin to rant. RESEARCH!!!!
The United States is not the only country that has participated in events that have caused massive death and destruction. And please, I do not feel like getting you the sources to the VAST amounts of information that is out there.
I personally think you may have something against the United States and if you do then so be it. But next time, put a little more effort into getting information rather then rely on ONE source.
** After all...ALL sources in the end are biased. It is up to you to gather as much information as you can to come to and draw conclusions.

The overall death toll reached 2,350, including 68 civilians, and 1,178 injured.
The only reason this number was not far higher is because we were able to ather intelligence beforehand.
My father and brothers fought for our country. A country that allows you to proclaim this treasonous bs without fear of court-marshall or reprecussion.
Hope that made you feel like a real rebel mr cool in front of your little classmates. Now how about getting off your dead little butt and doing something to make your narrow minded tiny world a better place?[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

Now listen, I understand how you think this is barbaric and murderous, but by taking these thousands of lives, the USA saved Millions. At the time, and probably still somehow present, japanese military was amazingly vigilant. They would not back down or surrender, it was kill or die trying. The USA knowing this, realized there would be many, MANY casualties and in so, killed X amount of people to save millions in the long run. The lesser of two evils. Now I know people will disagree with me on this, im not trying to start a flame war.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

What's up with all the hate blanka?
Any smart person in this country knows what our country has done in the past. The thing is, there is no need to take it out on people who neither participated nor supported those decisions made.
Making blanket statements doesn't help anything, blaming people for something they had not control over doesn't help either.12. No inappropriate discussion types.
