Archers...???

We'll To be hounest im just starting out as A Archer in perfect world. and im at lvl 37. But archers take alot of damage and im just wondering is it the right path if u want to do PVP, when u reach a high lvl ofc....

But Archers take a shed load of damage, not only of mobs.. but in pvp(duels)
Ive been reading a few threads and is it that Archers only pay off when they Are high lvls 50+? when the gears good?

As im just starting out, Advise on being a Good Archer(pvp) (Great Damage) is highly appriciated b:victory

    Well let's just say we are balanced ( Light Armor ) we are between heavy and robes making us half squishy. You can take a lot of dmg but as long as you don't die you should be fine right? Also at lower lvls your possibly alternating between bow/xbow/sling shot wich is normal why your dmg is low and all, but at higher lvl when you stay fixed to xbow your skills will hurt like hell. Also get the pure dex build if you want to do the most dmg: 4 more str than your lvl, the rest into dex. At higher lvl (70+)fill up the lack of def/hp/dmg with refines.

    Learn to use skills to keep the a good distance between you and people your fighting.

    Learn to Kite. If you are going to do PvP at all you NEED to learn to kite.

    One thing that will help you the most

    Frost arrow, Normal shot, Normal shot, Knock back arrow, Normal shot -->death.
