EDITED!! please see bottom of post!!

Mk, so I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this problem. I'm a lvl 82 cleric, so I'm well aware of the rules when someone is pulling aggro, be it a barb or a bm. Don't heal or attack until the tank has stopped and made sure he's got aggro...right? Ok, well the last week or so, I just have to follow behind the tank, and I pull aggro off of them...Never had it happen before, and while my friends and I joke about it...It can get sticky, it happened again last night in TT 2-3. BTW those physical mobs hurt...a lot..b:chuckle. But has anyone else had this problem?

Also no the mobs haven't lost interest and turned around to go back to their original places, they literally stop turn and hit me. Last night it was one he'd just aggro'd so...Ya.

Edit: Okies no, I must have worded this wrong. We were running through mobs, not killing, he aggro'd, used FR and ran some more..I did not heal or any thing else. I was just following. the mob took off from him skipped over a wiz a veno and 2 BM's that were also just running and came to hit me.
I don't like people. The sooner you can accept that, the sooner we can all go on with our insignificant lives.

The times I have seen that happen is when the barb does not ream..... He attacks the mob to get aggro, but does not use a aggro holding skill, than mobs goes after cleric... Not saying this is what happened, but I have seen this happen, and it is hard to tell, since the barb is fighting the mob, but not using fleshream.
Too often we loose sight of life's simple pleasures. Remember, when someone annoys you, it takes 42 muscles in your face to frown, BUT, it only takes 4 muscles to extend your arm and slap that mother#$@%#^! upside the head.

I think your Ironhearts do more damage then the barb.

shouldnt happen only thing i can think of ( no offence to anyone) but the barb
    a) doesnt have maxed agro skills
    or
    b) isnt really that great at pulling agro =/

im lvl 78 and i can keep agro from a lvl 91 wizard
Vote for allowing wolves to turn into wolfs not tigers

I've yet to see a mob go for the Cleric even once the Barb or which other class has hit the mob. In my opinion the Barb hasn't hit the mob before you healed again.

Being close behind sorta supports that, you start Iron hearts let the Barb/BM get at least one hit in that start healing again. Do that and it won't fail

I've seen something like it happen occasionally with my herc, and I'm pretty sure it's a bug. I'm still trying to figure it out though. The situations where I'll see it plays out like this:

I'll send herc into a group of 3 mobs. Two are ranged so I have it hit the 1st ranged mob once, then switch to the 2nd ranged mob. The 3rd mob is melee and takes reflect damage from its own attacks. I heal the herc and all 3 mobs keep attacking the herc. No problem so far.

I or the herc kills the 2nd mob (I'm still dunno exactly what the conditions are for this to happen). I heal the herc again. The 3rd (melee) mob keeps attacking the herc, but the 1st (ranged) mob now attacks me.

I think something about killing the 2nd mob is causing the aggro table on the 1st mob to reset. So herc no longer has aggro. I toss my second heal, and the 1st mob attacks me. I think I've seen it happen with a melee mob too, but the vast majority of times it's with a ranged mob.

This bug has accounted for about a quarter of all my non-intentional deaths since I got my herc.

Healing does create aggro. That's why you shouldn't heal a tank or other player before they hit a mob, because your ironheart is kind of like stabbing at the mob with a stick to **** it off. It's possible for things like bb or ironheart to pull aggro off of a barb that is only auto attacking mobs, just like it's possible for a veno to pull aggro off of a pet from a mob that it isn't attacking. That's why the ranged pet switch aggro; there was no reflect to keep it occupied with the herc.

Ohhhh that. I have no idea why that happens, haha. It just happens, and they like to go after squishy clerics.

Thats normal. Basically the mob cannot catch up and it switches to the next available target in range. The wiz and the veno most probably also ran past the speed of aggro switch so the next available target was you.

A good example is an instance like a FB where the mobs aggro follows you a LONG way. Try aggro a whole room and then use the speed pill. The mobs will start switching target to the next person once your speed and distance overides aggro, even if none of your squad did anything.

I had holy path on during the whole mess so I dunno, been happening a lot the last week or 2. And I've never had it happen before, and it's not just in TT's or Fb's regular grinding it's been happening too >.<. I dunno, was just wondering if it's ever happened to anyone else. My faction leader didn't really believe me at first I think, until he saw it first hand last night lol.
