Attacking pets in safezone allowed?

It seems players are able to attack your veno's pet when you are in the safezone of Secret Passage. Is this allowed?

    No reason it shouldn't be. Other wise it'd be fixed by now.

    It's a monster, monsters get killed, monsters are in safe zone sometimes, you kill the monster. Yes I say its legal.

    Since it's been that way since the game started and teaches Veno's to keep their pets put up, no nix for joo! *snipe snipe*

    Yes, my pet was in safezone. It's strange though. People are not able to do it in Tusktown safezone but they can do it in SP safezone. In a way its kinda annoying to see higher lvl PKers 1shotting your pet. I guess I have to stow my pet most of the time cause I'm running out of meat :(

    I hate that too. Had that happen to me at Nightscream Island and Immolation Camp. I really don't know if it's allowed though, it might be because the pets are considered an NPC by the game... Do you remember if they turn red when they kill your pet that way?

    Yeah thats also a thing, it shouldn't be considered a monster because if you kill it white named, you will turn red. Other monsters don't make you turn red :D

    This game is soo broken. I think I will buy a house in Broken Village.
