Hi im thinking of creating an alt wiz please post ur comments about the class and reviews

    always keep your main attack skills lvled up and get gears with hp and pdef blue stats.

    need to like the casting type :)

    It is painful, however if you like being able to kill alot of mobs 1on1 without being hit once youll find Wiz's satisfying... then you 1 shotted from nowhere by a rpk'er...

    I dunno why everyone wines about Wiz's, we're not stand-up, toe to toe fighters, we're not meant to be. We're meant to be damage dealers who stay away from the heat of the action.

    Any wizard experiencing such a moments must leart2play. Wiz is not an easy class but this? lol no.

    Also, anything <60 is oneshotted and owned on LC, and anything <90 is still owned as well b:victory

    To OP: just build your wizard right way. Going pure is not right, keep in mind that wiz have enough damage and must fix survivability.

    a lvl30-7x wiz: lalala im going to pvp a little, omg look its a bm he must have low magic def, im going to 1 shot him!.... pew pew i did him 700! but damn he inst dead yet... oh on he saw me! *bm use speed buff catch the wiz stuns him and the wiz die"... why i cant 1 shot you and u can 1 shot me!?! Q_Q---

    this is the same with archer and barbs, if u are going to play a wiz, u better be a buddhist with a calm mind xD

    Let me warn you that it is VERY hard to go from barb to wiz...nearly unbearable, in fact.

    Pre-89 you fail no matter how "well" you play. The only time you'll win in PvP is when your opponent is a total ****, or your gear is godly. A mage has no advantage over any class in any way. Veno - Nix, BM - Stun Lock, Archers - ****, Barbarians - Perdition, Cleric - ****-holes, Mages - lawl.

    After 89 your DPS goes through the roofs, and your fail-ness is somewhat diluted.

    BS. Mages - pdef of LA and mdef of robes, high damage, blink and silence. And sutra, which can toast anyone of +/- same level/equipment except of good barb.

    Archers, Venos, Barbs, Wizards, BMs, Mystics, Seekers are Paper.
    ...and Clerics are Mushrooms.
    Paper beats Rock. Scissors beats Paper. Scissors also happens to beat Rock...until Rock gets 50k+ soulforce at which point Rock becomes an unstoppable killing machine that beats Paper... and would beat Scissors but it can't find Scissors, because Scissors are invisible.
    So Scissors beat Paper and avoids Rock, and that is called BALANCE. -cheze

    what do we need mdef for....oh yeah the other mages i see.
    every other class in the game has a simple way around mdef....patk skills.
    Sutra? ok fine if you are carying around a 2 spark pot with you where ever you do then ok you can Sutra.

    Nobody is gunna let you sutra them if they see you do it, they gunna leap towards you stun, gunna shoot you from afar stun, gunna sleep you, gunna send nix run away, gunna be a ****ing beast about it and tank it.

    I like wizards dont get me wrong, but pre-90 is not fun.

    My damage reduction for patk is only 10% lesser than that for magics, and this is with unfinished 7x set. Don't get me wrong, phys.attacks are still dangerous, but no more than, say, good SS.

    Few posts ago brownflames stated Perdition as an advantage of barbs, so i think i can state sutra as an advantage of mages.

    Lol that's why wizard must think before starting sutra. Before doing everything. Good luck disabling sutra while you are silenced or got some occult ice.

    is this skill rly used by any1...

    btw is this way of think that mdef is useless made us wiz so dam dangerous dmg dealers on pvp, think about it ;)

    I always laugh when I am duelling an archer and he starts using all his metal attacksb:bye

    if at 80 an archer can do anything else than sit there and die in a duel, you're doing something wrong, lol.

    LE: assuming u have Soporific and FoW at least lvl 8

    Are you talking about me? Cause I dont have Soporific, only Undine. And I just leveled FoW to 7, was 3 before. so with only FoW lvl 3 I didnt had much.

    yeah, if u duel of PvP on daily basis, consider getting Soporific. That skill is amazing. Seal->debuf->hit ->sleep(while seal ends)-> hit = duel is over against any LA under 90 and some over 90 too.

    Allthough your advise is very, very good, I dont have the money for that:P I am focussing my money now on my regular skills first after getting undine. Like Glacial and FoW lvl 10 at 85, ulties bit higher, etc. But will think about soporific.

    Been a wizzie until I would say lvl 70 is HARD...and if you go pure mag you will die a lot...Up to 60 is very tough unless you squad...and is not a class to go 1on1 with mobs...is all about timing, max distance...and yes running (blinking) away and putting some distance between you and that mob until you kill it...when you get your knock back skill (Phoenix) and your "re-set/freez" skill (Force of Will) you will enjoy how easy you kill mobs in a few hits w/o even been touch ^^ awesome low-cost repair bills b:chuckle...in squads for FB's and TT having a Wiz really speeds things up...the awesome huge dmg numbers you will be doing will make the boss life go down much faster and save the clerics some mag charm and some repair costs to the barbas...oh and your aoe skill the almighty dragon a MUST for Zhen and RB...the two reasons we are so sought after and asked to join constantly to a squad...also the are the two ways to lvl fast and w/o effort ^^...then at 80 you get to solo mag bosses...I love the fire throwing ones where with my fire shield on i get min dmg while everyone else is getting pounded...Yes is hard to have 2 sparks but if u do when u PvP..start with Force of Will (freez em) and then sutra them to their quick demise YEY! But me personaly I am not a PK/dueler...this class is NOT the best for that and if that is what you want then move to another class...become a BM or archer...try it out...at least until lvl 30 and decide for yourself if this class is for u b:victory
