I wouldn't say its ****.
If you're going arcane (recommended for lower levels) just add some vit (like 3 mag, 1 vit, 1 str per level for example) and you'll be fine. Full magic build is good for damage/healing power, but survival in PvE/PvP really sucks.
Heavy armor is more for higher levels (80+), but its a very nice build.
But since you're into fox form. Light armor might be the way to go (IMO), but i think a veno's true power lays in its magic (human form) attacks.
As for WoW, i dont play it, so i cant compare sorry.0 -
i used to run a lot in foxform in lower levels, simply for the joy of and beauty of it, but fought mobs in human form more and more as i leveled up. the problem with foxform is that you cant cast distance attacks, and in fox, you are getting pounded on more physically than arcane armour likes. i'm experimenting with starting a veno in heavy armour, but she is still a baby (under 20), but my main is pure arcane. the only time i fight in foxform is in instances, when i go under the boss to 'let the air out of his tires' with debuffs, which is the main job,i think, for venos in instances, aside from our pets assisting as DDs.subhasinivand wrote: »hey guys,

If you're going to level up from 1 with a fox minded build you have 3 options.
-Light armoured fox. This gives you high dex, crit rate, evasion and accuracy. The trade off for this is some magic attack. Lesser magic attack, but still enough for decent pet heals. Be ready to take hits if you crit alot (you'll steal aggro from your pet.)
-Battle fox. This wears heavy armour with a magic weapon a couple levels (around 10 or more) behind it. This build gives you the highest physical attack out of all the builds with decent accuracy, evade and crits. Generally this build is a no-go zone for magic attacks.
-Heavy/robe. This is a pvp orientated build and dosen't really shine until around 80+ when most restat from light or arcane to it. Levelling up with this build is a pain in the butt and hard to work the stats. Very weak at lower levels. (although it dosen't fail at PvE at all, I grind the same as any other venomancer my level)[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
thanks guys quite helpful i decided to stick with magic then maybe change to fox0
