I'm a lvl 45 and I made the mistake of not doing anything about the crafts abilities. So, at lvl 45 i have lvl 1 apothecary, blacksmith and tailor and now im really regretting it because a few lvls ago i realised that crafting gives better weapons and armour.
so im wondering if i should start gathering all the mats and start upping the lvls or create a low lvl and use that to craft instead. the reason im quite reluctant to start upping the lvls now is because i read that i'll never get the lower lvl mats because im too high lvl to get them. b:sad

so...

can anyone give any advice?

Thank you in advance!b:thanks

Well, since crafting skills have level requirements as well (lv4 of each requires level 50), you're better off crafting on your highest-level character. However, gathering the materials is going to be a pain no matter which way you do it. Either you use your main to do it, in which case the drop rate sucks but you can kill fast, or you use a new character, where the drop rate is better but you take much longer to kill.

Or if you think that it's taking way too long to get the drops, there's almost always at least 5 people selling them in arch, it's just a matter of bargain hunting.
I used to wonder why I would have these scary dreams every month. About the wolf, who kept running through town. And as I wondered, I also thought about how I couldn't remember having those dreams before being bitten by this very big dog...

But now I know the truth.
    And I am not afraid.

Yeah, paying 4-5k each for level 2 mats doesn't appeal to me though. Rather go grind on mobs that also drop the mats I need.
