if you want optimal survivability, good matk, and high hp, go 6 mag 3 vit 1 str every 2 levels.

if you just wanna see big numbers, but die in 1-2 hits, 9 mag 1 str every 2

-Maybe while soloing instances above your level where typically you're not going to get hit anyway. Not from regular mobs your level with decent gear. Especially not magic ones, that is unless you take this person's advice and your pet dies for a lack of proper healing.

Or you simply get agroed by a few monsters at once. It's commonplace for monsters to spawn next to you. Or in the case of the sage/demon worlds, be invisible until you are on top of them.

with poor pdef, arcane users can expect to take 4-600 damage from mobs their level, been there, seen that, especially with the situations labeled above me. rather than being immature and making up garbage to try and discredit an opinion based on a vendetta, be helpful to the original poster and give your opinion.

Right now, at your (and my) level, the simplest build works pretty well: every point into magic, with just enough strength to wear your arcane armors / weapon. You're not going to be pvping or going against hard mobs and you really don't need that much vitality or defense yet. Just get some help for the harder quest bosses :p

I'd start thinking about future builds at 6x. For now, fast grinding gogogo b:victory

Edit: Noticed your server. NVM xD

Tear, It's not our fault if you don't know how to play a pure arcane veno without vitality.

I have 3 vit and I can take 6 or 7 hits from a normal mob with only my HP charm ticking. Even more if I turn fox form or start using pots and skills.

or youre full of **** and dont know what youre talking about :). bet it takes only about 2, maybe 3 hits to set yours off, sac assaults being more lethal, and if you get touched by high end elites its one hit KO. (or damn close to it)

-even with that blessing thing, if i draw aggro in FB99 im still taking 2k a hit during soloing

Try g8 pdef shards and at least +5/+6 refine.

It takes two hit from a SAC to tick off my HP charm...

Hey idiot. I use this advice myself.
Try g8 pdef shards and at least +5/+6 refine.

I'd only go that high on gear for Lv.90+, but I don't pvp.

Because you're a poopie head and value HP over Defense.

I'd lean towards a balance between phys def and HP.

Putting a cap on your vit is an easy way to do this. Depending on the HP pool you're looking for, you can cap at anywhere from 50-100.

If you'd rather go a bit more expensive route, I'd pump your magic--BUT this build requires refines and good armor with +HP mods, and the use of citrine stones to up you HP to the same level as a vit veno gets for cheap, BUT you'll have an appreciably higher magic attack.

I'm more of defensive player, and I've never had a problem healing my pets (being asked to tank Wurlord at 67 doesn't count, I told them I couldn't ._.), so I'm planning to cap my vit off at about 100 or thereabouts, depending on my HP pool when I get there, and I'm sharding my armor with garnets (phys defense shards).

I'm mostly using a mix of beautiful pdef and hp shards.

Equip is....+2 or +3, depend of the parts.

And some items with +hp/+pdef bonuses.

Guess you don't have a herc, or you could pump that up to a full +5 set easy by farming a little HH ^^

That would require HH to actually exist in PWI, but it doesn't. We have TT and the mats are so low priced now, its not even worth the time. I can run solo in squad mode pretty darn fast but I get more money grinding in the same amount of time it takes me to finish a run.

Going to +5 isn't really a great idea even on TT 90 gear since you'll decomp it for TT 99 later on. Mine is +4 and I see no reason to go higher my hp is high enough.

My arcane build is 70 vit, 50 str, 5 dex rest on magic. With 5k hp and 1800 phy def no buffs, it takes a hell of a lot to kill me.

Your build may vary based on the gear you are able to get ahold of.

i dont think you comprehend how time consuming TT99 gear is, youll be lucky enough to get the weapon, plus with your attitude on leveling youll be 99 in a year.

Yeah, I know, because I level slow on purpose. lol

TT 99 is all gold mats so I'm well aware how much of a pain it will be to get it all, however I'll still get it.

Guess it depends on the server, 90% of people on the pvp server refine their 90 set to at least +5. An hh99 armour set isn't much of an upgrade for some classes and takes a long time to farm with people dedicated to getting your set. You'd be one shot with only 5k hp and 2k pdef on harshlands, if not, then hit once and heiro bypassed. Most robe users will put in pdef shards bringing them up to 3k pdef (the same as light armour), then refine and put some vit in. I guess you don't really need it for killing mobs on the pve server though ^^

I do have an Herc. Got it the first day they came out.

I don't farm TT anymore. I don't care too much about money anymore either. I generally spend my time doing my daylies, helping people who needs helps, and killing mobs wihtout paying too much attention while chatting with friends.

If your pet draw aggro on more than one mobs and you did not had it hit every mobs at least once, chance are those will come for you after you heal your pet. It's the way the game is designed.

I don't need it for killing players on my server either. It takes an army to take me down already. It's not about what stats you have, it's how well you use what you have.
