    Judging from Creeep's first post, I'd say he simply sucks playing an archer. That's all I have to say about it.

    Why would you use Sharpened Tooth Arrow on a mob?

    Do you want the mob to move at normal speed and reach you?
    Do you want to aggro the mobs around it?
    #1 because mobs in FB89, 99, and the higher TTs have tons of HP. archers do it all the time?

    #2 it wont aggro them if youre smart enough to time it, herc/barb would be getting hit hard enough for the reflect to keep aggro if they had bramble on.

    #3then you assist target the tank after it wears off, maybe use fists or something and give him a chance to build aggro, then goto arrows :|

    Not to mention that it doesn't matter too much what level you are, STA is AoE and therefore can and will aggro multiple mobs.

    And besides, STA is lvl 49, whereas Frost Arrow is lvl 9.

    well you are only 60, youll find much more use for it at about 75+ when you start to do the higher TTs, RB gamma, higher FBs etc.most of the mobs have like 200k+ hp and it makes life way faster.

    Of course. But what are you going to use for those 76 levels that it takes for your STA to be useful? And what are you going to do when you're solo grinding mobs? What about before you get STA? Frost Arrow is a really good soloing opening because it slows down the movement speed for 5.0 seconds at the highest level, which means you can get 2 attacks and a Knockback Arrow in before the effect wears off. If you happen to have Wind and the Clouds and Bracers of Blood Moon, you can get away with 3 attacks before Knockback Arrow.

    Also, STA suffers from a 15 second cooldown, which makes it very time inefficient in solo grinding.

    it dsnt matter if i play archer or some pro pvper plays it, duh i camparing classes, and it hapens in every mmo i played that some of them have advantege agaist other.. to be honest there is no suth mmo whith would be perfectly balaced,, so on the topic .. since veno class have more advantages than archer and in pvp their job is same =kill things, i encourage all new wanabe archers to go and reroll better class ^_^ they will thank me later b:cute

    So basically you are encouraging all new players to farm 40+ millions? I think that would make them want to quit rather than keep going.

    Is this an attempted QQ thread? FYI there are other classes, and I know plenty of archers who are very good, very nice, and very happy with their character.

    im not talking about it for solo leveling genius, im talking about using it in instances, where it makes everything faster. if you took the time to read my posts, where in instances archers become DD, i havent spoken a thing about leveling, just instances and bosses.

    when a herc or brambled barb has a few mobs, wait a sec, STA. is that so hard to comprehend?

    when youre in RB gamma, and a wave is coming, before you start barrage, let off STA. you only need it when the bulk of the wave is there.

    when youre fighting a boss, STA at the beginning of the fight, wait a few seconds for it to wear off, then DD.

    its not rocket science, and i dont need to be lectured on nooby archerism leveling techniques that have nothing to do with what im saying.

    lol wtf is that? a good barb would own archer 1on1 8 times of t10 lol.. this list just shows that archers, wenos, wizys/clerics tends to pk more cuz they are ranged class...

    Oh come on, you're simplifying the game into squad instances? With that logic, Archers have no purpose before lvl 77. That's even worse than the 20+ millions for a Herc on Venomancers.

    And besides, the topic, if any, looks to be about new players, not those in their high 80s.

    lol because they really dont, a good friend of mine who has a very very high level archer (95+) complains how hes never needed for anything even at that level.

    i mean wtf...the hammers are so different looking, the magic sword look like 8x magic sword (and they both glow)

    why is the bow some npc looking reject that doesn't glow?

    aw **** no! penetrator was what? 7mil or something stupid when i was at the lvl to use it...

    and by the time supply stash was out, i was in my 7x using W&C, so i got the longbow from the stash purely to expect to look awesome and see what the pierce effect looked like. well...that's not the whole truth, i got it to get to the subsequent supply prizes but but...gaa at least make it glow blue like any 3star would.

    the pierce effect looks awesome tho

    what? we're talking about the penetrator that you have to dq your way to obtain right? ok...the 7mil i saw was a heavily refined penetrator...but it's not cheap by any means o.o
