Were some of the chip/coin amount changes at the Mysterious Merchant because of the instance blessings? Any idea?
Sky Demon's Pearl are now 37 chips
Requiem Blade are now 75 chips

Don't know the reason, but yes some prices were changed. Misty Forest Rings are like 37 chips now as well and Sleeves of the Sea Captain are 33 chips. Some people were trying to sell their Sky Demon's Pearl and Misty Forest Rings for like 4 mil to try to make some profit before this was widely known.0

Tauren chief's cape is also much more cheaper.
Other items increased in price. Probably because we will soon be able to gather much more chips than before.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
Thanks Brit for the sig b:laugh0 -
seriously whats up with that? is it a glitch? or did prices changed?
no mention of prices changing in patch notes, so i am guessing glitch and i want to wish a happy ban to those that exploited it b:victory
we need a gm to verify whats going on here pls0 -
oh thats great.... only that i still have my requiem blade in AH for 400k.
way to go PWI.0 -
The prices at the Mysterious Merchant have been changed without notice or notification before. I think they do it when prices for certain molds tend to go to one or the other extreme. Mistys and Sky Demon's were going for 8 million and up while Requiem Blades and Sleeves of the Sea Captain were going for less than 300k.0

Things happen. Economy is really easily affected.
Let's say they add a new, higher level dungeon. With new drops and whatnot.
For the first week or two, people will play that more, therefore, making the items required for that dungeon spike up in price, which brings other items up and down. So, they can't really tell you when and what. You just gotta take a nice guess.
A great example would be Guardian Angel.
I promise you, the price will spike up.0 -

what u just described cant affect the economy as bad as the changed prices did........and most of all without warning, and i dont mean a warning like a week earlier, but have it on patch notes.......the amount of ppl trying to sell molds at this time is ridiculous...........0 -

Little by little, it stacks up.
Something like this will die down pretty fast. People will get used to the price, or the GMs will fix it.0 -
Every change just keeps getting more and more ****.Quit 100%...and surprised my forum account wasn't banned...yet0

Well, you can't blame them. It's hard trying to run a MMO.
If you give too little updates, people will be mad. If you give too much updates, people will be mad. Either way people will be mad. And, for every update, there is always a group of players who dislike it. Therefore, you are probably not going to make everyone happy, unless of course, you are the ultimate gaming host. In my years of gaming, I had yet to find one that even comes close.0 -

it already messed a lot of ppl pretty bad.....like ppl that got their molds recently or ppl waiting to sell em later....and i have to mention the ppl that got em really fast and sold em high before the rest of the community finds out about the change
I just think that changes as big as this one should included in patch notes
If its not a glitch yeah we will get use to it eventually, everyone will get their dream mold so easily.......too bad for the ppl that got em the hard way b:surrender0 -
Yeah life's not fair. Everyone gets the short end of the stick at one time or another. I got my Herc a while back and have had to sit through two Battle pet pack sales/zen bonus weekends where every tom, ****, and harry veno got their legendary pets much faster and easier than I did. So, no point in complaining about it. Accept it and move on.0

sales - gold price goes way up
commonly used items go way up in price.
this chip change - common molds go up, rares go down
this kills market prices, and rips a ton of people off
JOJ event - makes PKing expensive because of lack of GAs
makes once a nice investment market of gems now worthless.
same with oracles.
after the event - the rich get richer, the poor stay poor; huge power gap which leads to...
TW factions - own huge chunk of the map, the rich get even more rich!
the economy is so screwed up its not fair or funny.
dragon orbs + charms on discount? that means nothing unless you cash, theyre still selling at ridiculous rates because of the gold hoarder/resellers.
-_-; PWI's econ going to hell in a hand basket.0 -

Trust me, a lot of players don't read patch notes.
But if you got it the hard way, then you know you got it the hard way, therefore, if you compare yourself to other people, you know you are superior, because you got it the LEGITIMATE way, spending hours at your desk, killing mobs after mobs, for the item that you always wanted.
DAMN, I'm on fire today. I really shouldn't had drunk that much coffee and coke.0 -
it's not the first time they've changed merchant prices without warning. Ancient devils soul used to be 250 or so chips, then jumped to 500 after patch one day without warning.0

Welcome to my world.
More specifically, my server.
Dreamweaver is like that.
The price is outrageous, the map is owned by 2 major factions, and don't even get me started on the players.
But, we live with it. Because some day, something will change, and everything will be better.0 -

its not a compare of who is superior or who got it a legitimate way, its just really bad for economy and like i said if it was intentional and these prices are staying we can live with it, but we dont even know yet........
still hoping a gm will answer here and give some info about it b:surrender0 -
My disdain for the long term economical issues this patch has caused is already ruining my buzz from getting a super cheap Misty ring.
Damn you, PWI.0 -

Topic derailed - quelle surprise.
I'd be interested to know if these changes are intended to be permanent, especially since no mention was made of them in the Patch Notes.0 -

Wow. You're good. That, I gotta say.
But. I'm better. To be honest, I agree with you. I was just trying to cheer people up from QQing about their money. *chuckles*
I think this nocturnal thing is getting me to me.
It's 8AM, I hadn't slept. All I gotta say now is, good night.0 -
