    I used to be impatient but not anymore. Now when I want something I wait till I find at a good price. Blaming the seller only is not fair, it's the buyer's fault as well for accepting to buy items at very high prices.
    For example I have some coins I want to buy gold and then battle packs, but seeing how the gold prices have really gone up again because of the latest sale, I'm gonna have to wait they are back to normal again.

    So people if you don't want higher prices then don't buy, they will be forces to lower them sooner or later.

    no, but the money does go to buying licenses, and paying employees to localize and test them for us to get new content faster :O

    I must admit... I parted with $100US this last week because (even though I couldn't really afford it) I realised that with bonus Zen and cheap Battle Pet Packs this was probably going to be the "cheapest" time to get a Herc...

    The temptation was definitely too much! so... now I have a Herc!! BUT no one twisted my arm. No one MADE me take that real money out of my bank account and use it for PWI. I and I alone spent that money...

    Good on PWI for creating such a fantastic game that I was moved to invest that money in 1 week... I can only hope that they don't continue to be this good... or I'll be more than broke... I'll be having to answer to my wife!!!

    constant sale made the economy in the game very unstable and if this keep up...it will be very hard for those who don't use real money to buy golds to obtain cash shop stuff which is why peoples are complaining.

    "...no."----if you look at most cat shops...they're buying and trying to resell for profit so in most cases (only if golds below 145k) buying gold through AH would be your best option.

    I myself buy golds with real money...I only buy golds with coins when there no sale and price below 120k. I just feel for those who can't afford using real money to buy golds. I feel like this game almost made it necessary for a player to buy cash shop stuff in order to compete with others. With constant changes of the gold price...it's really hard for those who can't afford to use real money to compete with others (unless you're in a rich guild that can help you with financial needs).

    That's how my hubby got me my Herc and Nix (through the boutique), with the Battle Pack sales we've had. Otherwise I would've never been able to afford to get either b:sad But I do know people who've bought theirs strictly from grinding/farming mats and selling. Both ways ARE possible, just up to the individual which route they will take...

    Those who buy gold with in game coin have no right to complain about the price going up. How many games allow you to sale the CS curency. How many games acctually allow all CS items to be tradeable. They are lucky that they can use ingame coin at all to get this stuff. So quit crying about price. Because it could always be worse you could have no choice but to spend real money to get thease items.

    Why can't they complain?...they're a player of the game and no matter what method they chose to get the golds...they're still players of this game. People buy golds to sell them for in game coins therefore the people who buy golds with coins encourage those who use real money. I admit this is the first game I played that let you exchange virtual currency for CS currency and it's great. Also I don't need you to tell me quit crying about price because I used my hard earn cash to get golds when there a sale like these and not feed my coins to those who raise the price of golds. All I'm saying is that these continuation of sale made the economy in game really unstable, give the players some time to breath...geez!

    their opinions are valid, but they have no right to have them taken into consideration, as theyre essentially just freeloading off of those of us who do cash.

    True in some cases that you will get cheaper deal if you wait (mounts) but for some if you wait...the price will go up instead of down (pet packs). I played other f2p games that allowed you to trade sell most CS stuff...I can't say here since spoon is lurking around here somewhere

    It's a symbiotic relationship. The "freeloaders" provide cash-payers with coin to buy skills, exp, rep, etc. The cash-payers provide the "freeloaders" with a means to buy cash shop items. Both greatly increase the size of the playerbase eligible to buy stuff from the cash shop, so PWI gets increased revenue due to the "freeloaders" as well. Without either group, the game wouldn't have anywhere near as much success as it has now.

    That said, demand for gold drives the price up. Suppliers of gold drive the price down. So if someone has a complaint about gold prices going up, they need look no further than the people buying the gold (which is probably themselves).

    If the sellers are greedy and try to sell more gold to rake in more coin, that'll actually drive prices down.

    It's not about how much money I have to spend opening the chest. I can easily afford it. I mean, I cube almost every day and I only don't some days because I don't have the time, not the money. You think an extra 600K or so is a big deal when I can gain 400K out of it?

    It's the blatant greed of the company that's making the quit. I know every company has the right to try to make money, but I think that is the last straw.

    PWI has gone down the path of all those other great MMOs that failed because of ridiculous cash shop problems. I've quit those games before because of that, and PWI since PWI is no better, it makes no sense for me to continue playing this game.

    No...For pay to play games, everyone has to pay. There is no uber advantage you can gain by cash shopping. There's also fewer immature idiots running around. The environment is a lot different from F2P games. Like I said, the problem I have with PW is not that I have to pay to enjoy the game; it's more of I don't agree with how it's becoming a greed and exploitation thing.

    And heck, when I see "Free to play" I want "free" to "play" the game. Cash shop is for extra things, like fashion and stuff. Normal gameplay should be functionable without cash shop.

    I agree completely with the final line.
    Cash shops, sure, why not? But cash shops that post a HUGE advantage over F2P players? Not that good. Let's say mats. A F2P player would have to run around for 1 hour, while a P2P player just have to pay a dollar and save a lot of time. Then, there is the gold price. It costs an arm and a leg (not literally) to get an outfit. Heck, if I were to pay for a mount and a outfit that matches, I would be spending enough money to buy a new game.

    I play P2P games also. Many that milk their customers in the CS. 1 of witch many PW players came from. Most of my games tho come from online not Buying the game then paying a sub.

    Every game goes down the drain once it gets old/stale, its only a matter of how soon.
    From 100k to 200k...the inflation of gold is just another stab that will see even more players give up for good. But hey, its not like PWE hasnt anticipated that already, they just wanna milk whatever they can before its too late.

    **** can NEVER replace PW.
    It's pay to play. There are a lot of F2P players in PW, who will buy cash items from time to time.
