Problem with patcher after 161 installed

I was previously able to use Perfect World, but had been playing it on a different computer for the past month, as my sister was staying with us and I decided to let her use the better computer. She left two days ago, and, after updating my antivirus, it found many viruses, all of which I deleted. Some of which were in the PWI files, so I decided to uninstall the game client and redownload it. I then installed the new version (the client download is still for the lost empire version), the patches and then opened the patcher. The moment I clicked "start" it gave me an illegible message, then closed the patcher. I have uninstalled, and reinstalled the game client, the version update and the patches to no avail several times, and I also removed the additional graphics card I had in it, hoping that would fix it. I have e-mailed tech support, but they only told me to roll back my graphics card drivers, which I did, also with no luck.
Any help would be much appreciated.
