Unable to manually patch - 'Update files Corrupted'

So I downloaded the .cup patch file from the main website, and saved it in the 'patcher' folder of PWI. I double click on it to run the manual patch, but the error message:

'Update files Corrupted'

Keeps coming up. What am I doing wrong?

EDIT: And the update client closes after I click 'OK' on the message.

    I am unfortunately having the same problem along with other people. Not sure how to fix it yet but if I have any news on how to do so, ill send you a private message. I am just thinking about installing the whole game again, but not sure if that would work...

    This is really annoying!!!

    Try re-downloading the manual update file. Make sure it's a fresh one (if it 'downloads' straight away it's a cached one of the bad one).
    Non-mule characters:

    [SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]....and Drazomyst.

    I have downloaded the new patch a few times and it still says the same thing, that it is corrupted. Any ideas on what to do next?

    I have submitted a ticket. If you are suffering from the same problem you should do the same so they 'might' be able to help us...

    anyone else having the same problem?
