    Must say... this is a good thing. Not so many hercs and nixes, and the sof/feathers I already got would be more valueable.b:victory

    Normally I'd say accidents happen and don't complain, but I kinda have to admit, mistakes like this aren't good. Misleading advertising isn't acceptable in a business, pwi really let down their customers with this. =/

    They just started a new event to make up though....a "buy more gold and get an extra 15% more gold!" b:laugh


    Guess they just wanted to laugh in the faces of everyone who bought gold to get the packs and mounts by closing down the event early and starting a new one about a gold sale.b:beatenup

    The bonus zen sale was up yesterday already.
    Kinda funny that they sale the mounts/pets Friday-Saturday and the Bonus zen Saturday-Sunday.

    Must be a mistake somewhere, I believe...
    At least the goldprices have already begun to recover a little.

    this is almost as bad as kyoto animation hinting at a haruhi season 2 for 2 years, and then when we finally get it, its the same episode 8 times with minor alteration -_-; why does 'the man' have to troll us so?

    it goes on for 8 episodes, really. anilinkz.com has the raw's of 6-8, its still endless 8, no sign of any end in 8 except for more hinting at airplanes.

    We realize that the sale ended earlier that intended. You can be sure that we will make up for this in the near future.

    Since they haven't fixed it by now, I'm guessing (hoping?) they'll make up for it by having the same sale next weekend. It seems like that would be the best and easiest way to undo a lot of the damage done. That way the people who were liquidating their assets in order to get the sale items will still get what they wanted.

    However, as a speculator who was playing the market, I took a loss of 2.5mill when the sale suddenly ended and I was left with a bunch of Gold that I'd seriously over-paid for. That damage is pretty much un-fixable, but you know, I'm kinda OK with it. Despite losing a ton o' coin due to false-advertising, it's still just a game and I'm sure it was just a mistake.

    Then there were those who left cat-shops running overnight and ended up selling their SoF/Feathers for way below their (suddenly inflated) actual value. One poor guy who I'd been competing with (and who I have to admit was doing a very brave job of under-cutting my prices by having thinner profit margins than I was willing to risk) ended up selling about 5000 feathers for 500 less than market value, for a total loss of about 2.5mill.

    Just saw Xarfox's reply. Thanks for the assurance of some sort of corrective action.

    Personally, as a market speculator who lost a bunch due to what happened, I can still say the most important people to worry about are those who were planning to raise enough funds to buy the sale items for their own use, but then got hosed. They're way more important to keep happy than people like me, since they are the life-blood of PWI.

    Look Tearvalin ... I feel sorry that you are disabled and are on a limited income and therefore you somehow have some hate for people that pay real money in the cashshop.

    But unlike you I don't have as much time to play and troll. Therefore when I make a decision to spend real money, I do it to save time and I expected to be able to use my Nix this weekend. I would not have used my hard earned money if not for the expectation of being able to spend it this weekend at the advertised prices. And for your info. this is the 3rd legendary Pet I am buying so I am helping support all the non-cash spenders.

    As Warrenwolfy said there has been quite a lot of damage due to this screwup. I am one of the few spenders that speak up, but I know many others will just say F this. I won't charge anymore.

    They better have battle pet packs on sale again... because I just spent money for zen just for those packs and came on and saw that they weren't on sale. GAH!!!
