Pet sale ended early?

Was helping a friend buy a legendary pet and just saw the packs are no longer on sale. Is this correct? According to the announcement, http://pwi.perfectworld.com/news/newsubpage/weekend-blow-out-sale-5071

This sale will run from Friday at 1:00am PST until Sunday at 11:59pm PST!

Yet they ended around 10:50 (I think) on Saturday, PST. That's a bit more than a day over the stated time, and all other sale items are still on sale.

    Battle Packs and New Mounts are still on sale. I just checked a second ago :)

    I guess Dreamweaver ended earlie. Well Heavens Tear still has them.

    Yeah I don't have them in my CS anymore either.

    They're gonna lose a boatload of money on this, methinks . . .

    not to mention angering quite a few customers if it doesn't get fixed.

    and to save this post from being totally off topic, i bought 300 pet packs about 2 hours ago on HT... must be an error with the CS cuz the announcement was definitely 'til sunday night

    I dont have money to buy some pack atm, i knew it would ended somehow.
    I didnt saw the boutique yet,im not loged in game, but why they stoped sales for packs ? I think i know b:chuckle , they didnt expected from players to buy/aquire hercules,phoenix packs so much.Now its enough hercules,the prices of TT mats will go down more,many items will be more cheaper , good thing for poor players but i think its bad in future for PWI economy,can reflect on real pwi-real incoming money(eg:some players could spent real money to buy some expensive-in game items,now its enough to have a friend with a herc and its more easy to get rare items from..TT,Frostland,Lunar Glide maybe)..I think its a economical decision b:shutup if they stop the selling of packs so fast b:surrender before the time-limited offer expire b:bye

    A company should stick to their advertised sales time durations. People spending real money are depending on it to make a decision as to whether or not to charge Zen. I charged my Zen and before i could properly spend it on the sale item it ended 23 hours before the scheduled time.

    I just don't get it.. Bring me mounts back.
    Sunday lasts still 21 hours, and i just got my Gold today.
    I've been waiting for the Boa since September.

    Well they should extend it at least for the amount of time they messed up.

    I presume that someone in the tech/sales department miscalculated the date/time for the servers relative to the published date/time. And now that they are all asleep on the weekend there is no one around to fix it.

    Also to make matters worse somehow I lost 880 Plumes/Feathers while opening the Plume/SoF boxes. So be warned document how many you get when you open the Pet Pack and how many you get when you open each Plume or SoF box.

    I have submitted 2 tickets, I hope their customer support is good enough to make good.

    LOL, the battle packs are virtual they can sell as many as they want. Anyway that would not explain why everything in the weekend sale is missing.

    Someone just set the time wrong. (how embarrassing for them)

    No. They are hand made in China, one by one. Here's the process :

    1 - one team draw every feather and force one by one

    2 - another team put them in stack of 10-20-30-40-50 into a pile and draw a box around them

    3 - another team draw a battle-pet pack over the box.

    4 - the battle pet packs are then sent to the US (generally by boat to save on cost)

    5 - PWI puts them on sale in their boutique.

    I wonder if they'll retroactively change the announcement, like the infamous "Charm packs are a permanent new addition" announcement? b:angry

    Well, my girlfriend and I lost 36 Gold by buying packs before realizing the event had ended early. Ticket has been submitted. We'll see what happens.

    I ticketed to, as yeah PWI are famous for "OH hais sale on/competition winners announced this day!" then its a week later, or just blatant lies.

    COMMUNICATION! The website team is SOOO slow! The fashion competition was still advertised as ongoing and then the winners announced in the same advert!
    Jesus christ I could do a better job than that and I know sweet FA about websites! COMMON SENSE is what's lacking around PWI! (You can SO tell its run by men)b:angryb:angryb:angry

    There's also the possibility that the web admin put Sunday instead of Saturday (though given that I've not yet acquired my herc, I hope this isn't the case!).

    Just totally sucks, got my Gold today and wanted to buy the Boa. When I came back home to buy it, it wasn't there anymore. And people are already selling it for 6,5m up to 8m. What's up with that ****? First time that I QQ about anything, but that's rly starting to **** me off.

    A weekend sale should run through Sunday so it is more likely a server admin problem. Maybe the cash shop is still on China time so it is confusing them b:chuckle

    Anyways considering the CS is the life blood of the company and cutting the sale short only means they LOSE sales, I think it is just a plain **** up.

    Well I have faith they will restore in when they decide to wake up and come into work to see the complaints. b:laugh
