Problems with Manual Patch

After 12 hours of downloading the new patch 144-166, it said there was a 'file error' when I got back into the updater. What does that mean and how can I solve this problem? I spend a lot of money on this game and would hate for it to be taken away from me just because I cant download this new patch. I also tried the automatic patch but that stopped 1/3 of the way through.

    Hmmm thas a strange one i've never come across that problem the only advise i can give you is to open PW and click Verify once thats complete, redownload the patch from http://pwi.perfectworld.com/download don't use any other sites as they may be bugged or have missing files.

    If that doesn't work contact me directly by sending me a Forum Private Message, i have an alternate solution. But i carnt give it out on the forums.
    Respect is something that can never be given or recieved it must be earnt.
    That's why i campaign for noobs to stand up against me....

    Make sure that you guys are using the correct version of the game from our download page.

    Use the correct manual patches for the version you need. If it is a fresh install, you will need 1-52, then 52-161.
