I was thinking about making an archer and i was wondering at what lvl do archer crits become frequent and not just once in a while

usually at 10% you start to notice it more frequently.

for a pure dex archer that's around 40~50 depending on your eq.

Well, you get 5 attribute points per level, and the usual distribution is 1str/4dex, so every 5 levels you get 5 str/20 dex. Every 20 dex gives +1% crit chance, so if you're going with the pure dex build, you get +1% crit every 5th level. Equipment can add to this.

Yep, around level 40-50 ish crits start to get really really common.
You get crit hits like every 2 mobs.

Just because they aren't critting doesn't mean they are weak pve at those levels.

archer damage is just fine without crits

but you start critting at around 40, i crit SO MUCH! i got 13% crit rate and i'm like 6 or 7 dex away from 14% crit rate. i 4 hit mobs my lvl if i crit at least twice, which happens quite a lot

19% is possible at lvl69, its a bit hard to get there but I have 19% and I love it.
With W&C and BracersOfBloodMoon you`ll see lots of mobs going down in secounds.

When you get 80 it should be a guaranteed 20% crit, after that it depends on your crit rings and gear, endgame with the best gear should be about 40% crit

What about 1 str.1vit and 8 dex every two levels?
Looking for a decent casual understanding Faction.

What about 1 str.1vit and 8 dex every two levels?

That would be an archer using Arcane armor, so I doubt that works too well. You would have to go 1 vit, 2 str, 7 dex every 2 levels. And those have 1 dex less per every 2 levels, meaning 1% less crit every 40 levels, or a total of 2% less critting than the others.
If you disregard what I say because of who I am or because of the contents of what I said, you are a fool.
