Pwdatabase isnt an official PWI site from what I know, and GMs have even stated that some of the info (including this subject) isnt true.
So anyways. .02% chance is a lie. No one knows the official rate except for the Devs/Gms
It's pulled from game files, and is absolutely correct. The number also matches how Nef leader got the lion recently, assuming average luck, of course.
GMs said the Fox mount containing egg's chances are not 0.02%(could be higher or lower). that egg wasn't included in PWdatabase's info. PWdatabase did not had it wrong, since they did not have the info at all.0 -
The price of 25 silver also shows they learnt their lesson from selling the fox eggs for 1 gold each. The new price matches the rewards quite well, red/blue/purple eggs basically give half your money back at npc price, and avg citrines means your pretty much making money.
Lv.40 and under charms/attack charms are the conselation prize for bad luck.Currently flying internet spaceships around dodixie, moving to amarr soon.

Avg citrine is only 3% chance though. The lvl 40 charms are 40%, eggs add up to 37% Given the chances, it's not hard at all to have bad luck. But very hard to have good luck.0 -
I got 3 avg citrines and a few charms, rest were eggs. Guess my luck is being niceCurrently flying internet spaceships around dodixie, moving to amarr soon.

It is pretty lousy to ask you to spend money on something without advertising the chances of winning.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

What are the odds of winning the New York lottery?
I am curious if someone can get information from the Lottery commitee there so I know the exact odds so I know to play or not.tatuaje: grinding mobs and zhenning ???

It should be the companies responsibility to produce an item that is considered worth buying.
To me, this is not.
And so I lose a certain amount of respect for this company.
It's how it works.0 -

I didn't think I was justifying it. Only thing I would disagree with is calling it a scam. Rip off would be a better description, since the odds are there for all to see.0 -
Is a contest a scam when the odds are 5000-1?
When does a contest go from being a scam/rip-off to being fair?
It's funny how people throw out those two descriptions about the offers they make.
The best contest I know about it a 1 in 3 contest. I bet you all like that don't you. Here's the catch. The cost is 100$ per ticket.
What do you call that now?
Nothing will ever be good enough for all you QQers.....tatuaje: grinding mobs and zhenning ???

millions of people buy tickets daily but, read this article i found on google:Everyone knows that the probability of winning the lottery is a pretty big long shot. How long, however, you probably never really thought about. Your actual odds of winning the lottery depend on where you play, but single state lotteries usually have odds of about 18 million to 1 while multiple state lotteries have odds as high as 120 million to 1.
If you have ever thought you'd win the lottery, you're not alone. About one out of every three people in the United States think that winning the lottery is the only way to become financially secure in their life. This is a frightening statistic when you sit down and consider what the above odds really mean.
It's time to take a long hard look at the chances of you winning the lottery. While winning the lottery may be something that you want, to show you your chances we'll take a look at a number of remote occurrences that you probably wouldn't like to have happen to you - and probably don't think will ever happen to you - but are still much more likely to happen to you than winning the lottery.
How about the classic odds of being struck by lightning? The actual probability of this happening varies from year to year, but as a good estimate, the National Safety Council says between 70 and 120 people a year die in the US by lightning - so let's take 100 as our base. With the US population being approximately 265 million people, that means that the chances of being killed by lightning are roughly 2,650,000 to 1. Not very likely. However you are still 6 to 45 times more likely to die from a lightning strike than you would be to win the lottery.
Now nobody really wants to die from flesh eating bacteria, and with odds at about 1 million to 1, the chances that you will die that way are pretty slim. Then again, you are 18 to 120 times more likely to die this way than to win the lottery.
What are the chances that if you're playing with a group of four that two of you will get a hole-in-one on the exact same hole? At 17 million to 1, they're better than the chances of you winning the lottery.
What about dieing from a snake bite or bee sting? It probably isn't a way that you have imagined that you would leave the earth. You're a whopping 180 to 1,200 times more likely to die from one of these incidents than win the lottery. That's because the probability of dieing from a snake bite or bee sting is about 100,000 to 1.
Now I know that you are not a bad person and you don't imagine finding yourself on death row for a crime you committed anytime soon. Still, it's a lot more likely that you will be legally executed than win the lottery. In fact, you are 30,000% to 200,000% more likely to die in a legal execution than to win the lottery.
Or If I told you that you were 450,000 to 3,000,000 times more likely to die in an asteroid collision in the year 2029 than to win the lottery, what would you think? Well, these are in fact the odds according to this report at space.com.
If none of the above has convinced you to stop playing the lottery, then I'll bring out my favorite lottery fact. If you drive 10 miles to purchase your lottery ticket, it's three to twenty times more likely for you to be killed in a car accident along the way than to win the jackpot.
all in all, its not a scam, and those of you complaining are like losers at a casino complaining because your slot machine consumed all your money without giving you an even payback. whos fault would that be? yours. did you have to gamble? no. were the eggs cheaper this time? yea, by 75%, 25s > 1g. ingrates0 -

And this is the reason that I think instead of minimum age this game should have minimum IQ required to play... How dumb does one have to be to complain about how one did not win in a game of chance.Too often we loose sight of life's simple pleasures. Remember, when someone annoys you, it takes 42 muscles in your face to frown, BUT, it only takes 4 muscles to extend your arm and slap that mother#$@%#^! upside the head.0

Actually all lotteries advertise the chances of winning and are required to by law.
Want proof? In Google I randomly typed "New York State Lotto" and look what I found:
http://www.nylottery.org/ny/nyStore/cgi-bin/ProdSubEV_Cat_401_SubCat_201671_NavRoot_320.htm - odds of winning every prize from the largest to the smallest.
Casino slot machines are regulated by state gaming commissions and must follow strict payout guidelines or the casino loses its gaming license.
Who is regulating these eggs that people are paying real money for?
Given the well established principle of the value of intangible assets PWI is likely breaking Internet Gaming laws with this sale. The TOS I'm sure attempts to indemnify PWI by saying all assets remain the property of the company but all that is thrown out the window once people pay real money to acquire virtual goods.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Edit: (was just posted today that the rates are innaccurate for this particular mount on PWdatabase)0 -
a year and you're 2 levels higher than me? o.o0

same sentiment goes for all of these threads, no one told you that you are required to buy these cases.
PWDB is NOT accurate numbers, regardless of what people claim.
