A few questions about level 9 quests

1) Is it okay to do them alone? I don't really have a schedule for when I play and if life calls and I have to go I don't want to disappoint anyone. Also, I'm using wifi and it occasionally disconnects.

2)If for some reason I have to quit in the middle, am I just screwed?

Not unless it's a timed quest with most level 9 quests I don't think it is. I'm the same way sometimes I have to leave quickly and just have a few seconds to logout. It shouldn't affect you that much the only quests that need partying are bosses or fbs and such but you should be perfectly fine b:cute

There's at least a few timed quests. Not sure how many per class, I've played all of them so far. There is a pattern, though: Pre-30 if you get a quest from an NPC where they're saying that so-and-so is poisoned and you need such-and-such from mobs, it'll be timed. Usually an hour.

@ Cidalphous: You're perfectly welcome to quest on your own throughout the entire game. In fact, for the most part you probably won't need to be in a squad. You only need to quest with others for Call to Duty and some Bosses, depending on your class. Though, if you have a long quest of "kill 30 mobs" and other people are in the area killing the same ones, it's often easier to squad with them to make it go faster, rather than fight with them to see who gets mob kill credit.

And as long as the quest isn't a boss battle, dungeon, or timed quest, if you're disconnected that won't mess up your progress. It might put your character in danger though because sometimes the game thinks you're still there after you disconnect, and a mob can kill you.

Found a dead mage once who had been disconnected then mob-killed, the mob had made him drop a weapon while he was technically offline. But when he logged back in and I talked to him he said he wasn't missing anything.

Just do the "normal" quests (click "search for quests", then you'll see them). New ones show up their everytime you level. You can do all of them solo. The other quest categories usually end up needing a squad.
