Hi I'm new to this game...about 2 weeks old...spend most of my time reading threads and stuff...*boring stuff*..anyway, out of curiosity i would like to know your build....as i read from some threads, the only 2 applicable builds for a wizard is an Arcane and a Light Armor but if you have any builds apart from these 2, would be glad if you shared it with us b:pleased.

Thanks..and I'm not gonna tell which build i am...b:cute just because I'm still unsure which build I'm going to apply on my wizard.

    As of yesterday I'm LA, but also planing to go pure at 90's.

    yep.. LA all the way to 90. Then restat and get ur TT90 arcane. However some say TT90 LA are splendid too. Oh well to every man his own. Theres no perfect guide or build wadsoever. Comes down to ur playing style.

    With LA build = more crit%. With Arcane more constant damage.b:bye

    Thanks for the every so much effort for participating in this thread :D!

    This really helped me decide which Build i should go b:victory!

    I've decided to go Arcane >.< Just because i like dying so much b:dirty and also even though I'm on a PVP server, I doubt Ill be PVPing that much anyway so I'd rather go Arcane. This thread will still be Open for anyone who wants to share their experiences and builds ^^ and thanks again for Everyone who Posted b:bye!

    LA with Maxed Stone Barrier FTW ^^. Still do some pretty good damage.
    Had a Lv. 54 Pure and now I'm 55 LA, damage difference isn't much, but in LA I don't need Charms, like I needed on 54 Pure, and I still beat up many Physical People ^^

    Currently Arcane and sporting 399Magic, and a 4% crit rate, 3Vit(I have 2.55k hp), and 47 Str. I one shot every class my level except barbs and high Vit builds.
    Currently flying internet spaceships around dodixie, moving to amarr soon.

    1.9k with LA

    still need armor of grieving sorrow and TT 70 boots and bracers.

    I'm confused (or my dyslexia is bein weird) doesn't that mean you still have a 91% chance you won't crit? And isn't 91%>9%? Also, these are serious questions because my dyslexia has been acting up a lot lately.

    i dont know how crit % works.

    crits are sexy but it's not about those. It's about having a BM your level hit you for 90-250 and QQ when you can tank through their stuns & still beat them; it's about being able to survive archers' stun -> death shot combo & blink away... the crits (mines at 9%, will be 10 & possibly 11 @ 80) are figured like 1 in 10 shots ima do double damage (or in the long run just figure you're dealing 10% more damage... which at least on paper covers the damage difference between arcane and LA).



    edit: and if you come in here with your +6 saky w/ 2 flawless shards saying your pure build pwns ima slap you >:O because both builds pwn with sexy weapons which is why everyone should be saying it's all about preference.

    lol, it's indeed a matter of preference.
    Preference to have a whole faction relying on luck for u to take down a cata-puller or on constant dmg you're able to do.

    I have 3k+ HP, 4k pdef self buffed, 5k with cleric and +6k full.
    I can since lvl 80 4 shot the buttefly without getting touched.
    I really don't see the point of being LA.

    Look at my server, why would I be stupid to do that?
    I'm playing the game for fun and I want to get in a fight when I choose to do so and not when others choose to do that for me.
    No, ty, I will never roll a char(and a wizz for that matter) on a PWI PvP sever, I have much better things to do in life. Growing eyes on the back of my head and waiting to get a window in a spot to do my quests/grind because some lifeless SoB is **** lowbies to compensate for some RL issues is not on my "to do" list.

    At the Moment im still Arcane ^^ .....Loving my build because i can kill monsters faster than other classes my level apart from venos and classes with insanely good gears... Thanks for Everyone Who posted Their Opinions b:victory!

    Remember Guys! All Wizards Are One ^^...It Doesn't Matter if Your LA,Arcane or in Some cases Heavy type...So we should all Help Each other Improve Each others gaming capabilities so that Wizards would be more renown in the world Of PWI ^^!
