Right off the bat I'd like to say: if you are expecting me to be coherent or even have a direction to my musings please refrain from reading through this post.

If you are still reading, clearly you and I have one thing in common: too much time on our hands.

So as the title says this thread is for me to respond to things I've heard or been told in passing while playing the game.

As I was questing with my lvl 21 Venomancer outside West Arch: "Veno's Suck! Duel me!" I duel him (BM I believe), he wins. He says something along the lines of I told you say, and leaves. The problem with this is I made my Veno yesterday and my dueling abilities don't really justify all Veno's sucking. The second thing is hating venos because they have pets is like hating wizards because they cast spells. It doesn't make any sense.

Along the same lines as that: I'm logging into my Arch who was at heaven's tear and I am immediately beset by PKers. My guild is non Pk my and arch was 45 and they were carrying 70tt weapons I think. So I run away by jumping off. b:chuckle The reason these two pkers didn't kill me is because they missed most of their attacks. As I'm falling I read "I hate archers they have too much dexterity, they're op" ...Again...you hate archers...because they have too much dex? I don't even know what to say that.

I just wanted to let these people know who HATE players because of what their classes are there are better things to spend your time hating. And also if you are pking people who are just logging please refrain from complaining when they run away and come see me when i hit 70. b:laugh

    I think this has been probably the most sincere post I've seen on this topic especially coming from someone on a PvP server. I especially laughed at the last line. BTW.. be prepared to be called a carebear.. I see it coming.

    Didn't we establish already that pvp server players are QQBears instead of CareBears?
    Pretty sure we had a 20+ page thread discussing the nuances of carebears and qqbears
    Too often we loose sight of life's simple pleasures. Remember, when someone annoys you, it takes 42 muscles in your face to frown, BUT, it only takes 4 muscles to extend your arm and slap that mother#$@%#^! upside the head.

    Pfffft, Veno's don't suck. Considering I've pwned everyone thats ever dueled me I think it's safe to say that Venos are quite awesome. Plus we get pretty pets, make craploads of money, and lvl faster than nobody's biz. Woooooo *waves veno flag* Keep at it, you'll kick everyones ****!!

    Barbs suck because they have so many HP and a high defense!! They barely take any damage from physical attacks, they're op...

    Isn't it the purpose of different classes to have different abilities and fields where they're good in?! Also each class has to be good at something different so that we can complement one another and play together. It's just sad that so many people curse at others or say that other classes suck just because the others are better at something. I wonder why they play the game... They should try to play a solo game, not a MMO. b:sweat ...These players apparently always fail to see that their own class is op as well, just in a different way than the other class.

    LoL...I love the Veno thing...That is the same type who tries to KS me or my Fist Master Alt and is sorely disappointed every time. I cheat, being a Fox Veno, but I have NEVER been defeated by any Melee Class. I think a Wiz or Cleric could take me if they had some distance to begin with but Melee Classes are doomed.

    i think ur exactly right aligaz... well i play in a pve server but ive beat everyone ive dueled and they always say that barbs r so stupid and that we dont know how to play cus we just raise our HP and STR... these classes were made this way, and every class has their weakness.

Your class wasn't "made" that way. You choose to build it that way. It is the normal for a barb but I've seen barbs do other things with them than vit and str. I've seen a mainly Str barb with very little VIT. Either way the class is great and a lot of fun, I'll make one as soon as I can wear a skirt!
