this is the second time its happened this week.. really funny I think.

So I was floating around Hidden Orchid when a veno pops out of no where with her nix ripping me apart(not the funny part, shut up)

and so i quickly purify (duh) and plume shell and get my **** out of there with 145 or so hp. I flew over east and dropped in the water and the veno followed me? I was surprised and I just logged off to gather my ground lol (d'oh).

Annnnnyways, it happened again yesterday same spot, diff veno.

1 question, why the hell would a veno follow me in the water where they have to take the time to summon a new pet? That second veno just dropped in started channeling her summon pet as i attacked - slept - and a few more nukes and she was dead.

So is there something special about venos in the water or was i just fighting a ditz? o_O

Phoenixes don't swim.
A lot of venos rely on their one hit win button.. the flesh ream key.
When they hit water, they panic and completely lose their composure because "oh my days, phoenixes can't be summoned here! What do I do?!"

Hence... your few nukes = dead veno.

yea i know they dont swin, thats why i was confused on why they would choose to drop in the water o.o

Some venos don't need the nix to PK if they know their character well enough.

She should've stunned you first and maybe even tree of protectioned if it didn't work if she wanted to get out her pet.

The reason we use pets is because we don't do as much damage without them and we're squishy so we rely on trying to kill you quickly.

I don't follow people into the water unless I'm really intent on killing them, then I just get out my lvl 80 fish thingy. I had a PK war underwater once with Hiroto, Almon, SoultheWolf, and Falon lol me, Pippins and Falon all had our water pets out lol and we had a good battle. I don't remember if I died there or not. I don't think I did. ^.^

Because there are other ways to kill without a Nix...sadly most of them are brainwashed by it and can't think of other ways to kill people than pressing one or two buttons and move the mouse some centimeters.

There are very few skilled ones that have Nix.

I was that 1 Veno the 1 one, al veno no need Nix for kill, Besides almost time no need nix to kill robes users

i think the water is the best way to fight a veno lol, she doesnt have any legenadry pets to help her/him, Air - nix, Land - nix+herc, Water - none (otehr than water pet), so jumping in the water was ur best bet

yea and alot of venos decide to complain about going into the water. its called tactics. i rather not want to deal with being destroyed by a bleed that takes odd half my like per tick ontop of a fast pet dealing 300-800 dmg per every 1/2 second while the veno nukes me. sounds like alot happening right? yep thats why i much rather figth venos in the water, just makes things easier on my part.

If this works, keep doing it. Teach them how to fight without bug abuse, even if you have to do it the hard way.

sadly that never works, and how are you casting bid? your not even 9x, scratch that your not even 59. unless your are using chi pots. and better sleep nix then open up on the veno imo.

Undine strike cancels sleep.

Sleep nix(or FoW), Adv. spark erupt/BT+Genie spark+Undine=around 5k damage. My usual tactic, works on veno's that haven't pumped Vit.

Failing that, Essential sutra+Town portal. :P

For some reason the Nix has stupidly good defence, and attacking it just wastes time.
