Buy a Case and lose money

I would like to share some information that I think many will find useful. (may only apply to lost city server)
The 3 gold Case is worth 2.7 gold
The 1.75 gold Case is worth 1.11 gold
If you invest in these products you will lose 10-37% of your investment.
I share this with you because I care about the gold exchange rate.

While this has nothing to do with exchange rate, for the smaller case, at least, I've made out better than what I could have done. I got 2 silver charms, in a case that costs 1.75, for what normally would have cost 2.50. I also got 20 of the highest Lumber, which costs 3 for 30, at the 1.75, compared to the equivalent of 20 for 2. So, instead of selling the case, open it, and sell the inside object for profit.0

Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose. Mathmatically speaking though there is an objective measure of the case value. You can use pwdatabase to get the statistics and check the math.0

I'd just like to point out if you're buying mats from CS you're not very smart...
Spending 1.75 gold for 20 is like... almost 250k for 20 mats... or 12.5k each.

I figured people like Isala would point out the potential benefits of the cases, but yeah overall the OP may be a bit misleading concerning the potential worth of the cases. Of course it's not going to be a guaranteed profit, but if you get something halfway decent you can make up the money spent or even more.
I see your point though, I'll lock this up
